Wonderful little set
Good sturdy box and lovely selection of slides. I purchased a microscope for my sons 8th birthday and we spent a long time inspecting all the slides at different magnifications.

These slides are of excellent quality. I have produced my own slides so I know exactly what is involved in their production. It is a multi stage process requiring a lot of skill and spanning a week or more elapsed time. I cannot envisage how it can be effectively automated, if at all. For example it takes experience and a good eye to judge exactly the right quantity of mountant to cover the sample, it also takes a steady hand to position the coverslip without introducing air bubbles. Then you have to print and affix a neat label. How the heck can this be done for 50p a slide?

great selection of slides!
the set comes with a numbered list of the slides, but each actual slide itself does not have a corresponding number, making them difficult to locate. Notwithstanding this minor quibble, my 12 year old scientist to be absolutely loves these.

Great samples
My daughter got a microscope for her birthday and I got her this samples to look at. She loves them.We received the box correctly, but samples are not well protected and 2 were broken. Can they be replaced?

Ottimi preparati
Ho avuto modo di provare quest vetrini e ne sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto. Non sono un professionista quindi non posso fare paragoni con altri ma le strutture anatomiche dei campioni si vedono benissimo, per far avvicinare alla microscopia mio figlio di 8 anni sono più che sufficienti.
