Best pillow ever!
I bought this originally because I've been getting neck and shoulder pain every day. I was thinking it must be my pillow. I used to use those contour memory foam pillows. I thought that I must need to sleep on contour pillows vs the standard soft pillows. But I was wrong! Sleeping on those pillows not only made my neck and shoulder hurt more, I feel like I'm not sleeping comfortably each night. I was searching online for a very long time and decided to try this one. This was a firm pillow and both sides are a slightly different height so I can test out both sides to see which side feels best for me. It took me a day or 2 to get used to it because I have never slept on a firm pillow before and the shape of this pillow was also unusual to me. But I noticed right away that my neck and shoulder pain was gone! So now I cannot sleep on any other pillows besides this one. I even bring it with me when I had to sleepover at my family or friend's house. It was a little troublesome, but if I want a good night sleep, I definitely want to bring my own pillow. I tried sleeping at a hotel one time and the pillows were so soft and low (2 pillows didnt even work), I was sleepless all night. I was tossing and turning so much that I can't even calculate if I slept at all or maybe just a few hours. So I gave to say, this is the best pillow I tried and I'll never go back to other kinds!

Pain relief after using this pillow!
I am 38 years old and starting to bounce back a little less quickly as I once did to aches and pains. About a month ago, I woke up with a sore neck after sleeping on the down alternative pillows I had been using for the previous year+ with no issues, and then every night after that had neck pain no matter the pillow position/one pillow or two/a rolled up towel to support my neck/use of a massage gun/etc. The pain was pretty bad some days, to the point I couldn’t turn my head. After a week and a half of progressively worse neck pain, I gave in and ordered this pillow. I’ve been using it for almost two weeks now. After one night of using it, it was clear this pillow was much better for my neck and spinal alignment. It took a couple days to be pain free, but I haven’t had an issue with this pillow or any neck pain since. It took some getting used to, as I am not used to sleeping with my head this flat or sleeping with this firm/supportive of a pillow. I am typically a side sleeper and the first couple nights I slept on my back, as it felt awkward on my side, but I’ve since gotten used to it and now sleep the majority of the night on my side again. I actually find this pillow to be comfortable now that I’ve gotten used to it. I washed the cover recently and it was easy to take off and then put back on, and retained its softness. I would recommend this to anyone who has woken up with neck pain from sleeping in an off position. It’s an interesting pillow to look at on your bed, for sure (and I warned my husband in advance that he couldn’t make fun of my somewhat ugly pillow) but it does its job well.

Almost
Each person's cervical issues are very personal as no 2 are alike. My pain may be in the same area, but could be totally different. I've had a discectomy and fusion at C5-7 which helped that area, but still was in pain from higher up. I've had neck pain since 1991 and I've tried almost every pillow that had been available. For about 3 decades I've been using 100% down pillows that I had to break in. After about 1-2 months use the new pillow got good and the old got tossed. Still there were and have been many times I need to have my head elevated to sitting up in bed with many pillows because of the occipital neuralgia that plagued me. This past Oct 2021 I found a therapy called strain-counterstrain which has changed my life. There aren't many therapist in this practice as it's very intensive study and I was very, very lucky to find 2 in the same place 40 min from home. At the same time I had bought this pillow. I sometimes turn my down pillow on edge so it supports my head in a certain position and I sleep on my back. (I'm also a side sleeper.) This pillow sounded like it would to the same. I have a Therma Pedic bed that I love. The first time using it I went to sleep and felt ok in the AM, but I couldn't use it night 2. I've alternated between the 2 now for a couple of weeks. The memory foam is a little hard, but not totally uncomfortable. Memory foam is harder when cold so it needs some warmth to soften. I can sleep with this pillow, but I don't think it's as good as when I'm with the down and I have a good night. I've also slept on my side with it. My fault is that I didn't see that it also comes in "soft" which I would recommend if you try it. My other issue is that I think the neck "wedge" is a little to long for me and my head is not all the way into the dip for the head. This creates a "tired feeling" in my shoulders. If I could fit properly I would try the soft, but because I don't I'm returning it. I did have high hopes for this pillow. I just can't see keeping it for maybe sometime usage.

Worthless
Read the most recent reviews from the past months. They obviously changed the type of foam. I don't think it's even memory foam. It is not firm, AT ALL! It squishes right down like a pancake. At best, it's like really cheap standard pillow foam and doesn't even appear to fill the covering. I had put this pillow in a list I made for potential pillows to buy. It looked like it would be one of the best choices for the way I sleep, but then the price was high. I checked that list last week and saw it was half off, but before I bought it, I did read the recent reviews. For the past months people had complained how bad it was. I decided to take the gamble. The one star reviews had lasted so long, I wondered if the company had finally corrected the quality and got new stock with the original foam, and lowered the price to get fast sales to get the stars back up. Or maybe they were just dumping their stock of bad pillows. It must be the latter. This company obviously has no ethical standards and is more than willing to dump faulty product on the consumer. I hope most people considering this pillow read the most recent reviews, but Amazon, by default, feeds them the "top reviews," which in this case, don't apply. DON'T BUY IT, at least, not now until you see good reviews again.

Comfortable!
I bought the standard size. I wanted the lower profile since the higher ones I have not found comfortable as a stomach sleeper. I found it comfortable from the first night. I sleep on my side and stomach, it is both low enough and soft enough for a stomach sleeper. It has help with my neck and shoulder pain and tightness. My only suggestion would be it a bit small so make the lower profile pillow also in a queen size. Quality looks good and there is no smell that sometimes comes with memory foam.

cervical bliss
initially is very hard to get use to it, took me two weeks to be frank,it is not very soft and stiff, but after a month not cervical pain and a huge reduce of my migraine to one episode a month, from two per week...i tried to go back to my regular pillow becauae missed the hug part of it ,but i always end up switching back to this one in the middle of the night, benefits in the morning make a huge difference..i just will say give it a try minimum two weeks, even the first night despite the hardiness of it you will see the results in thw morning,

No more neck and back pain
I've used many different pillows and this one works well for me regardless if I'm sleeping on my side or on my back.

Wonderful pillow, great night sleep
Since purchasing this pillow I've slept better than ever, no neck pain. Great to switch between side and back sleeping.
