I ordered this and was excited about having the pre-slopped base. After installing it, it had enough flex it the pan when stepped on that it made me concerned how tile on top of it could cause an issue. The concern of this had me pull it out and use a concrete mixed base.

Used this in my guest shower, was easy to install and so far so good.

Comes with what you need, slope is on point, and it's adjustable. Instructions need a bit of editing, but if you have some basic skills and understanding of how these work, you'll figure it out.

Used this on my basement bathroom build. Can be cut into the size you need which I did. Takes the frustration away from trying to slope the tiles by hand. Easy to use and has everything you need. Would definitely buy again.

This shower pan is perfect for anyone who is uneasy about installing a curbless shower. Choosing the correct system when installing a pre-sloped mortar bed can be confusing, to say the least. Do you need a shower pan, a drain with weep holes? Is pea gravel involved? Where is the pre slop compared to the pan and membrane? It’s confusing if you’re not in the trade. If you can read a level this shower pan takes all the guesswork out of the equation. The pan is sturdy, the slope is already set so you don’t have to second guess yourself. It comes with the waterproofing membrane and a set of instructions. There are a few details left out of the otherwise good instructions however. If you’re either comfortable enough or adventurous enough to try framing in a shower, installing a waterproofing systems and setting tile it should not be difficult to fill in the gaps. It’s a great product for those of us who don’t get to experience the wonders of installing pre sloped dry bed mortar on a regular basis.
