My husband absolutely loves these socks. So soft and super warm without making your feet sweaty. True to size. He wears 10-1/2 or 11 and we bought the large. They come out of the dryer looking a bit small, but my hubby says they stretch to perfection.

These are now my go-to socks. I have many other socks such as injinji's, darn tough, smartwool, etc but these are the socks that I prefer. Whether I am hiking or just wearing my slippers at home, these feel great on my feet, and are soft, fluffy and warm. These provide a lot of warmth for a very low weight - only 33 grams per pair (1.2ounces).Only downside is that they only come up to just above the ankles, so if you are wearing a taller boot they don't give enough coverage, but if you wear a lower mid boot, or just shoes these work great. Probably I'll bring 3 pairs of these on my next backpacking trip.

After living in the desert southwest for 2 decades I had a sudden move to the beach communities of the east coast. I was literally freezing to the bone. These socks saved me from total discomfort. I will own many pairs of these in the near future. I wish these were around 3 decades ago when I was an avid skier.

I wear a women's size 7 shoe and bought size small of these and they are still too big. I like them and will keep them, but wish they fit better.

Pros:- nice and soft- fit comfortablyCons:- the ad size says "men and women" and the label on the sock says men/women, but it seems to be sized for women. i ordered an extra large for men's shoe size 13-16 according to chart. I was planning to give them to my husband who wears a men's size 12. these are not nearly big enough for him. I wear a ladies size 11, so I am wearing them. See photo for comparison of Merrell socks that were ordered unisex L/XL with these that are XL.just FYI:- these socks are thin (not extra thick as described) and per description, are not 100% wool. I have some minus 33 brand wool socks that I love. they are much thicker and are 100% wool. So just be careful to read the description of what you are getting and know these are a thin sock. Would work well in certain shoes, but maybe not for sport. It just depends on what you need. Time will tell how well they hold up.

I got these for my mother who has poor circulation and also has a hard time standing without grippy socks. She has told me these are both super warm and grippy. Make sure to follow the washing instructions for longer service life

Purchased as gifts for 3 people everyone loved them as do I .....purchased 3 sets for myself

The sock itself isn't bad but the ankle cuff is too tight for me. (no, I don't have cankles either) The opening isn't as stretchy as the rest of the sock.Also, for an "XL" it's stretched beyond its limit and is so thin, I can see my foot. I have a size 14 foot and this should accommodate me according to the fitment guide, but it doesn't.
