I have just finished reading this wonderful book and I felt compelled to share my thoughts. I could barely put it down for the last week. It was written with such emotion and feeling that when i got to the last chapter I was brought to tears by the sad and heartfelt ending the book was simply divine! x

I was very interested in knowing Divine's story and if you are as well you should read this book.The whole story is a very harsh report on his strange life and it seems that the relationship between Divine and his manager was not so good after all.This book is stuffed with "unglamorous" episodes which after all add up to a very interesting life ending tragically on the verge of success. You should read it!!!

Was printed to order which is nice when a title goes out of print, and arrived promptly. Very well if coolly written. Great snapshot of an era. Ultimately very sad of course.

I abslutely love this book. Devine was a true leader and as many have stepped into careers as a drag queen including myself. R.I.P. Devine and just know you were loved by many.

This is a GREAT book about the life of Divine. I have read it many times throughout the years. It's filled with wonderful details about the life of the infamous entertainer, and really allowed me inside the mind of a legend. I highly recommend this book to those who enjoy seeing Divine's movies. RIP Divi!!

The truth is stranger than fiction

If you want a biography about Divine look no further then this book it is pure enjoyment a quick read and goes into loads of detail about DIVINE in and out of makeup!

Great autobiography of a very complex individual. Good easy read!
