Good for the price
There weren't enough reviews saying this, so let me put this all in caps: YOU HAVE TO PUT THIS TOY TOGETHER. IT IS MILDLY INCONVENIENT.It took probably about 10 minutes to put this vacuum together. Everything came in 2 "sheets" connected by plastic strips that you had to cut off. Once assembled, this vacuum is great. It makes a clicking noise when you wheel it around, and it has a little hand vacuum that pops out. No bells and whistles, which is nice because my son doesn't much care for the loud noisy toys. This toy is surprisingly sturdy, considering the fact that the individual pieces are pretty light. All around, this is a fairly good buy. If your kid doesn't require the fancy light up, fully functional, cartoon character themed vacuum toy...then this will do just fine.

You get what you pay for
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 1 yo niece and I’m glad I popped open the box because I’d have been mortified to give this to them. I like that it’s made In the USA, but beyond that, it’s not all that great. It isn’t battery operated, let’s be clear. It requires assembly, after you clip all the pieces apart from the plastic holding it together. Once assembled, it’s more substantial and less flimsy than I anticipated, however the wheels do not run on wood floors and the knobs are hard to turn. I can see where some kids would like this, but my kiddo pointed out right away that the wheels weren’t working even though he could still push it. It’s a bit of a frustrating toy. I did try to return this before assembling it, and amazon refunded me without requesting the item back, as they do sometimes for low value items (I paid $13). So I assembled it in order to write a full review. I plan to donate the assembled toy since it is brand new.

Perfect MADE IN USA toy
Perfect MADE IN USA toy, just what I wanted for my great niece. I thought it might be a pain to assemble, but just took minutes even with arthritis. Used wire cutters to cut off tabs flush with pieces, no problem. I wanted a gender neutral toy and one that did not need batteries, flash lights, or beep. and, really happy to find toy made in the US. I know she'll love this... my kids had a toy vac growing up and played with it for years.

Inexpensive plastic vacuum for the little ones
Purchased this for my son who is in LOVE with our vacuum. He's not old enough to actually play with it like it is intended (it's still a little tall for him) but he enjoys the clicking noises that it makes and the little hand held vacuum.I guess I am not overall thrilled with the quality of it and putting it together wasn't too difficult but a pain (cause you need snippers to detach all the plastic pieces)It seems cheap, but I guess that is what you get for this price-pointI give it an extra star because it's make in the USA

Perfect, simple toy vacuum
Just what we wanted. My 2 year old has been pretending to vacuum with other objects for a while now so we thought it was time to get a toy vacuum for her. Its the perfect size for her and she enjoys pushing it around. Its very simple but I really like the seperate hand vacuum. That is a nice touch. My husband said it was pretty easy to put together. His only complaint was that because it comes with all the parts attached to each other which then need to be cut appart there are some spots where bits of plastic jut out and need to be trimmed down. This is minor though it just requires a bit of care to make sure the little one isn't scraped or cut by sharp edges.

Dissappointment.
My son loved this vacuum but the handle broke right off!?!I can't believe it comes in pieces like a car model would. The molds were filthy as well. After cleaning it from what looked like black car grease smudges, I had to cut the pieces off of the plastic connectors and file the sharp edges so my child wouldn't get cut. After assembling, even the buttons and knobs didn't work very well. The front wheels.... Are not even wheels. They are little lumps in the plastic. After about a month, the handle broke right off.

Missing parts
I was very excited to get this toy for my son's birthday. He is currently obsessed with vacuum cleaners, and I wanted a realistic one that was not battery-operated. This seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately, the whole base and other pieces were missing, and no assembly instructions were included. I have contacted American Plastic Toys to see how they can remedy the situation, otherwise, this is going straight back to Amazon. How disappointing for my son :(

It does not come assembled
This toy comes in pieces, still attached to the molding supports similar to a model kit. I had to use a knife to cut the pieces away from the plastic. The fitment is loose. This is for my 2 year old child who couldn't care less, but for parents it is not a joy to assemble especially considering the price I was surprised to see that you have to not only assemble it but remove all the plastic molding.
