I specifically bought this item to help me maneuver plywood sheets and such but it turned out it doesn't work with MDF, that's a disappointment.

I've used another tool for years to move sheet goods such as plywood or melamine. It hooked on the top which was fine if just carrying it around but not when I needed to lift them onto a cutting table. It was awkward to get the right leverage but was the only way to handle them by yourself. Enter the Grabo. It has great suction and can be placed anywhere you need it. I've use it to lift sheets off a stack to get them on edge. Change position to help carrying the sheet around. Finally one last position to be able to lift onto the table. The handle is nice and large which does help to make the pivot to the table. I highly, highly recommend this!

This tool makes it possible to move stones solo, that otherwise require two people to move. The Grabo is well designed and works quite well even on the uneven Pennsylvania Flagstone I used on my patio. There is both a audible and visual signal that the suction is working properly and the capacity of these tools is quite impressive. Some stones required the Grabo to be placed in non-optimal locations due to their irregularity, but that is not a problem. I did have an issue with the first one I purchased, which required a call to the Manufacturer, who coached me through troubleshooting the issue, and promptly sent a replacement. I have two of these now, and almost look forward to working on the rest of the stonework next year! The only nit I have is that I found I inadvertently hit the on/off button for the tool when using it with gloves due to it's placement, however this is a very easy thing to fix.

Great quality!! Would never do a project without it!

Works well as long as object lifting is flat. Using this on flagstone ("midnight black slate flagstone") and Grabo unable to get proper suction. I knew it was risky buying this because my particular flagstone is not as flat as most other types. CONS - no auto shut-off - led lights and indicator number hard to see. Would be better to just have 3-5 large colored lights to indicate bond.
