what kind of foam is this made of? styrofoam or like a padding foam

It feels to me like it's made of a dense styrofoam. It is not squishy foam, it's fairly hard.

It is 27 inches. a little over two feet. Similar to a real axe. Worked great for our woodsman on stage.

Does this prop axe have a wooden handle

No. It's a heavy foam. Very durable and realistic. I'm using it in a movie that I'm making and it's working out great! Definitely recommend for a prop.
