The material is nice and would be perfect for SUP when I prefer to have shorts but need to be able to get them wet sometimes. However the fit was much too small and they basically don't provide much more coverage than a boy-short bikini bottom.UPDATED - The initial shorts I ordered were too small but the seller was very attentive and immediately followed up to ensure I received a better fitting size. The length of the larger short isn't noticably longer on the leg but with the extra room, it hangs loose and is much more comfortable. My suggestion would be to order a size up but the seller is very helpful if you end up with a wrong size.
