The tapestry is amazing, super huge, but at least you get it for a really great price. I love the color although it does have some slight color defects (smudged/ leaking color) but I’m pretty sure it’s handmade which is awesome and I think the little imperfections give it character.

I looked at hundreds and wanted one that was 100% cotton, soft and washable, vibrant, and big enough. This one looked to be all of that ... and it was. I wash everything when it arrives and it washed up beautifully. Colors did not run. Cotton came out pretty soft (not muslin soft, but more like a linen soft) and it drapes nicely. I would not hesitate to buy another one of these from this manufacturer.

This was a great hanging tapestry.I used it to hang over my small bathroom window in my camper and it has been great . Sun hasn't faded it in over a year and have even used it outside to hand at camp for numerous nights. It has been good quality for the price.

My experience with textiles from India is that there's more variability in the product than, say, shopping at a big US store. Yes, the size which claims to be 86x56 is actually, before washing, 82x52. If this is going to mess up your plans, don't buy this. Hopefully you read reviews before you order, because lots of people have mentioned the sizing discrepancy. The colors are really vivid - if they fade with washing it will still look very cool. The fabric is heavy shirt-weight cotton, pretty dense weave. If you used it over a window it would block a lot of light and give total privacy - but the dyes fade with constant UV exposure, so you might want to hang a sheet or some backing behind it or use it with a window shade anyway - otherwise the shape of your window will be bleached into the fabric. This isn't as thin as the ones that my dogs manage to tear holes in too easily, or as thick as the really heavy, rougher fabric ones. It's got more of a hippie vibe than traditional Indian, but it works both of those ways. I use it on a bed that turns into a sofa - so during the day the sofa is two futons thick. If I put the edge at the back, the opposite edge covers to the bottom. The futons are twin size, but they squash out to be a little wider. So that's perfect. On a regular twin bed, centered on the mattress, the edges would hang down just to the bottom edge of one regular mattress (probably not the super deep-dish mattresses). I like this a lot and the size is fine for me, but even though I know to be flexible about these things, I've gotta take a star off for not being able to measure closer than within 4 inches each direction.

I bought this tapestry to use as a door curtain because I couldn't find any that I liked that weren't overpriced. This one is very bright, colorful and an excellent value product for the price point. It smelled a little weird when I opened it, but I washed and dried it before using. It just smells like my fabric softener now. Anyway, it worked great for what I had planned for it. I think it would be nice hung on a wall as well.

The only thing I gave the slightest hit on the rating was the durability. I imagine if you yanked on this pretty hard it would probably rip. It's more of a polyester fabric.However, it is ana among product especially for the value. The picture/printed quality is astounding and has deep colors. I through this over a bar height table and it covered it beautifully and is a great accent piece. I highly recommend this product and things sold by this distributor.

Cool design but just a colored print. Thin cotton polyester stiff material blend. We use it as a picnic and beach blanket. Not breezy enough to hang but too thin and stiff to use as a blanket or top cover on bed. I would buy it again because of the great value and cool design just not what I expected as for nice looking enough to hang in a room.

it looked so pretty when i got it, bright vibrant colors, but got all covered in cat hair and i had to wash it and all the dye ran out! now it's completely desaturated, hardly any color at all. i'll use it for something anyway, but it sure was pretty when all the color was there! so if you can put it someplace it won't get dirty, so you won't have to wash it, or be very careful if you do. but it is big and just normal cloth, seems like the fabric itself is fairly durable.

I got this item and it's no where near the colors shown. Very veery faded. Poor quality. I'll be sending back. I wouldn't waste your money.

I can say in one word Beautiful.

Quality is great and colour is is so vibrant. I want to wrap myself in it. I am using mine to cover a desk. It is size of a twin sheet if not larger. Would make beautiful curtains as well, fabric is not thin. You won't be sorry. I plan on ordering the Astrology one next.

the design, the colors, the size.... EPIC! i just stare at it and smile. So worth this small price as it adds so much value to a simple wall and transforms it ;)
