Mini Utility Knives Box Cutter Retractable Letter Opener (Blue/Pink/White) 6PC

I shop online more than I shop in store nowadays...that means with every shipment I have a box to open and then break down for recycling-it was getting to be a real pain in the butt. These little box cutters fit perfectly in my hand, take up next to no room in my kitchen junk drawer, have an auto retracting blade for safety when not in use, and most importantly, they cut well. I also use them to open plastic wrapped products. Amazon should slap their logo on this product and send one for free to all of us who have a Prime membership, to help us open, break down and then recycle their boxes!

Since I make crafts and art, I needed a box cutter- Issue was, I hated the clunky, heavy look of the work ones. Then I found these, and by looks alone I figured it'd be cheap and flimsy. However, these are amazing, and the price is well worth it, especially for three of them. The only reason I gave it a four star is because on some projects, specifically a hard plastic like my phone case, the blade will unlock and retract on its own- Therefore, the lock isn't incredibly strong, but that's probably because it wasn't meant for tough material. Great cutters all around.

What could be more convenient than a little box or paper cutter that fits in the palm of one’s hand? This little gem is a hard worker. I’ve used it for everything from letter opening to cutting stencils to cutting up large cardboard boxes! It may be little, but it is incredibly durable!

I got tired of always looking for scissors to open various packages, mail, etc. The three pack was nice - I have one in my kitchen, one at work, and one in my home office. I'm never far away from having one of these things being handy. They cut well. The are spring loaded to stay retracted/closed. You push it open and it clicks and stays open. A light push on the switch retracts it back.

I'm a materials handler that needs a small quick operating box cutter that I can attach to my badge for convenience. These work pretty good. Sharp and solidly built and getting 6 to a pack is pretty economical. The only negative (I had to drop a star) was that the blade seems like it should extend out a little bit farther than it actually does. There are certain applications that require a deeper plunge into the product and this struggles with that because it's so short. I've had similar products with a much longer blade to work with. I'd still recommend this for most people but know it's limitations.

I purchased these to work on bubbles in some of my diamond painting projects... they are very small.. about 3" ovals. Definitely fit in a pocket or your small purse. You slide the blade out and there is a stop that keeps the blade out or you can hold the slide in the out position. You get 3 - I received a white, turquoise and coral pink blade. They each have little holes on the opposite end of the blade if you wanted to string them. They work perfectly for my very lightweight use - but the blades are not replaceable and not for any real heavy use in my opinion. Lastly, Made in China if that matters to you. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info see useful.

This isn't the fault of the product... I really didn't think about handedness for box cutters, but the switch for the blade is really well located and works great... In your right hand. If you're left handed, it's pretty hard to operate with your left pointer finger though it does NOT feel unsafe or anything! Anyway, seems like a great little cutter, but I will probably search for an ambidextrous one for next purchase (if i ever need to buy another one...b/c let's face it...3 is a lot of cutting.

Better than all the pen-exacto knives.More precise than anything else, yet capable of tough jobs.They are relatively disposable at this value, and well worth it. Feel very safe and handy. Blade locks out, and in. Strong blade that is sharp-sharp. Use for that one job and keep around for future needs. Won't be thrown away.Careful, super sharp!Will cut carpet for a small job.Vinyl.Paper.Plastic.Too realistic for kids or play. Rather serious little hand tool, actually. Great to have a handful around.

I really like this product but they are smaller than expected (just to keep in mind). They came in a very nice package and the knife works well so far. They are also very light and easy to handle

I ordered a pack of 3 knives. Pack only came with 2.I also ordered a clip that didn't arrive at all.
