This was super easy to setup and get working through the app. Note, you will need an Android or Apple device to download the app. The voice commands took some getting used to as you have to speak clearly and slowly, which was difficult for an excited 8-year old. I played around with the coding and it looks like a neat feature. The next project is to setup an obstacle course and program the robot to go around it. For the price, this is a great gift for a curious kid.

I bought this for my 11 year old grandson. He easily assembled it, though it presented a little challange - he had to concentrate on the directions (which was what I wanted!) and then he enjoyed programming it. You can give it direct commands through the app you download OR program it to go through several movements. He said he REALLY enjoyed it and took it home with him!

This worked really well for the class I did demonstration of robotics with. The free wheel is not super durable, it needs to be a little harder plastic. It works fine, but only very smooth surfaces.

I ordered this for my 8-year old niece's birthday. She loved it and the assemble was really easy. It's perfect for a child's whose assembling their own robot for the first time.

I got this for my 8 year-old granddaughter for Christmas. She had it put together in a few minutes, and it was the life of the party for the rest of our time together! I'm not sure how much she's played with it after the novelty wore off, but it was a quality little item that she had to put together herself.

I liked that it came with straight fordward instructions of assembly. my 11 year old loved it. He enjoy comanding this bot once he download the app. This was a christmas gift for him.

My son is enjoying making and programming his robot toy. It is easy to assemble and not much needed to do this. He is having hours of fun with his robot.

I spent an afternoon with my 6 and 7-year old assembling this robot! They had to read the instructions and put this very practically designed kit together. Once assembled, the wifi connection was instant and the robot started to follow commands! It confuses right and left, but that’s an amusing challenge! The coding interface is very simple and intuitive and the voice commands work beautifully. Great product at a reasonable price, I will keep an eye out for more!

I bought this just to test a build idea I have. Construction was a little difficult for me, perhaps it's my big thumbs but a few pieces I had trouble putting together, but that said building and overcoming obstacles made it more fun ( for me) once built connecting to the app was simple as was using the app. I did hope for a little more power but it may just be my batteries are low. Great item all in all and as a stepping stone into simple coding for me it works.

Bought for my 10 year old son, he put it together without any issues, the instructions were clear and concise. He needed help tightening the little screws holding the circuit board on but that was it. The app was easy to download and after help from customer support we were up and running. A good introduction to building and coding, nice to have an actual robot in front of him and not one on a screen (although you need a phone and app to use it) overall fun, nifty little robot. Great as an introduction 👍
