Mauviel without doubt is a brand name that most kitchen lovers would love to have amongst their collection of treasured pots and pans. We also looked forward to these 2 new skillets arriving.Unfortunately the large skillet had some manufacture defaults.Two small dents on the lip and the on the inside of the pan the metal seamed to of internally warped. When you run your fingers over the nonstick its seems as if the pan has blistered underneath the non stick coating.My overall rating by the way has not taken these negative faults into account. Thats why I still gave it a five star rating.Other than that the skillets are heavy and to me the weight equals quality. Beautiful thick lips and a Mauviel stamped handle.
