I really like this straightener. I have been married to my old straightener that I got from a mall kiosk but I think it might have finally been dethroned. It is light weight and easy to hold. I was able to use it to make loose curls and I have had trouble doing that with other straighteners. Not only was it easier to twist for curling the shape didn't seem to pull my hair either which was great. It was easy to use and did a great job at straightening. I think it does great work for less money than a high end straightener.

This is a nice quality hair straightener. I’ve used my chi longer than I’d care to admit to. Nothing has seemed to work as well, but it’s old & doesn’t get as hot as it used. I wanted to give this one a try since it’s about half what I’d pay for another name brand. The design is nice. Has a sleek black matte finish. Comfortable to hold in your hand. Has a swivel cable to prevent it from tangling as you rotate it for curling. Has a digital display that’s easy to see with a temp setting that goes up to 450. It heats up very quickly. The temp can be locked by holding the power button. This was a big selling point for me. I love that I don’t have to worry about accidentally dropping the temp halfway through doing my hair. With the design of this straightener & where the buttons are located, that could be a problem if the temp isn’t locked. I noticed I ran my fingers across the buttons frequently. It does get very hot but didn’t burn or damage my hair. I recommend always using a heat protectant anyway. What makes this one different from others is that the plates are slightly angled instead of just flat across. It straightens better than cheap brands & does a fantastic job at loose curls/waves while reducing frizz & static. They even include some instructions on the best way to obtain different curl styles. It glides smoothly & doesn’t pull or snag my long hair. I couldn’t get it to do tight curls but may just be my hair type. My hair is very long & doesn’t hold curls easily at all. There is a bit of a learning curve to doing curls. It will take some practice. The instructions recommend rotating the straightener 180° & pulling down slowly. I couldn’t get it to work with that method & resorted to my normal way of curling by rotating it completely around & twisting as I pulled down. With a little practice you’ll get the hang of what works for you. In the beginning the tip of the device wasn’t too hot & I was able to grab hold of it as I was curling. This gives me better control over my curls. However, towards the end it did become too hot to touch. Overall, it’s a wonderful tool for both straightening & curling hair if you’re not looking for tight “ringlet” curls. I wouldn’t say it’s as good as my chi but it’s pretty close. I’ll continue to use it because it does work well. I recommend this if you’re looking for a high-quality straightener but don’t have the bank to spend on expensive name brands.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this flat iron! It has so many great features, my favorite is the custom temperature setting anywhere from 248°-450°. There’s also a memory feature that automatically heats to your custom preferred temperature setting. With a cord that swivels 360° it it easy to twist and curl your hair. The automatic shutoff feature for safety puts my mind at ease when I’m rushing late for work, no more turning around or worrying all day. This tool replaces my old flat iron and curling iron. Love it for traveling. Highly recommend!

This straightener is very sleek and beautiful but it heats up fast but doesn’t get too hot.

Lightweight, easy to use, does not snag my hair, makes my hair soft and shiny. Seems like it is built to last. No complaints

This is my 2nd favorite brand when it comes to straighteners/curling irons. I feel that the price point is beyond reasonable. This is a 2 in 1 straightener/curler. It does a very good job heating up and it is very easy to use. I opt to use this hot tool when I want to add a curl to the ends of my hair. It is a very sturdy straightener and I found that I only had to pass through my hair a few times to achieve the results I wanted.Overall, very good 2 and 1 hair tool

When working with women who lose their hair for cancer treatment and young girls, being thrown into the foster system with nothing extensions and wigs are very big and very important and some thing I go through a lot of many will show up where the hair is. Good quality and gray color, but do the shipping it will have creases and bends in it or be very frizzy. Having a tool like this designed for wigs and hair extensions can really help a lot and no way do I just want to put a wig on a woman’s head and she feels like she looks silly and explain it just needs to be styled this allows me to style it as soon as it arrives and I unpackage it.

Has given me great curls and hasn't been snagging my hair. Love it so far. Heats up quickly and nicely.

This straightener has an excellent feeling in your hand. The finish is non slip, the quality of construction is high, and the general appearance is clean and tidy.The three buttons on the side control power on/off, temperature up/down, and temperature lock.I didn’t see an entry in the instructions to indicate how to turn the unit on. Plugging it in the red LED display shows “---“. I tried pushing each button, and tried single clicking and double clicking each, and nothing was bringing it to life. I found that you need to hold the middle power button for about two seconds, and then the unit came alive. The buttons are labelled, but it can be a little hard to see; I have provided an image to show the little icons on each button.The two outer buttons allow you to raise or lower the temperature between the following 12 temperature pre-sets: 248, 266,284,302, 320, 338, 356, 374, 392, 410, 428 and 450.As you push the up/down buttons to select the pre-set temperature you wish to use they will be displayed on the LED display. A couple of seconds after releasing the up/down buttons the display switches to show you the *actual* temperature; this means you can see if it has heated up to the desired level.Double clicking on the middle power button will lock (or unlock) the temperature setting. This ensures you don’t accidentally push the button when using the tool and inadvertently move the setting.WARM UP TIME:This was impressive when compared to the slow heat up of our old unit. To test the warm up time I wanted to make sure the unit was truly “cold”. Rather than going with room temperature I put the wand in the fridge for a few minutes! This meant you are heating up from much colder than any real world situation you are likely to encounter (unless you are straitening your hair in your tent during winter camping).53.8 degrees f. They are probably “close” to accurate, but keep in mind this is measuring the temperature of the heating pads with the wand in the open position. Having the jaws closed means the heat is not lost to the air, and is just directed at your hair. With this said I suspect actual temperatures would be slightly higher if you could measure what the temperature is on your hair.So, speedy heat up, good temperatures, works very well – highly recommended!

I have to tell you that as someone who has used a hair straightener every single day of life for the last 20 years (but I'm still really young, I swear), I would classify myself as an *expert* on the topic. My hair is really important to me and I only use the best of the best.My first impression of this one was that the packaging was darn cute and rainbowy. Loved it.I was confused about the look of the straightener when I pulled it out because the iron part is angled, instead of parallel to each other like most irons. I thought I got a defective/broken item, but then quickly realized that angle is on purpose and - in fact - the entire point of this particular product. DUH.The instructions could use some slight improvements because it explains how to straighten the hair and use the tool to create waves/curls, but does not clearly outline how to turn the appliance on and get it to your desired heat. It took some trial and error and generally just smashing buttons until I figured it out. The booklet does say to hit the power button twice to access the temperature settings, but that didn't work for me as well as just holding down the power button did.I noticed the iron reached its temperature FAST. Maybe the fastest I've ever seen. Nice!In terms of straightening, it wasn't the worst flat iron I've ever used, but also not the best. I've had better experiences with $30 irons from big box stores. The plates did not glide as smoothly over the hair as I'm used to and like. You could hear and feel it pulling on random hairs. My theory about why that's happening is because there's so much plastic part on either side of the ceramic plates, whereas with the one I already own the ceramic plate goes straight to the edges of the iron for smooth gliding. It sort of did the job, but not in the way I'm used to and my hair didn't come out silky and smooth.But the reason I gave this product 4 stars was for its STELLAR wavy/curling power. I've seen people on TV just casually twist their flat irons and get marvelous curls and I've NEVER been able to recreate that - until now.I won't use this to straighten my hair, but it's been added to my hair tool box for beachy waves.

I'm quite satisfied with this 2-in-1 hair straightener and curler. Here are the things I liked about it:-The fact that it functions as both a straightener and a curler is very convenient. It saves me from having to buy two separate tools.-The workmanship of the product is excellent. It feels sturdy and well-made.-The digital display allows me to adjust the temperature according to my needs, ranging from 248° to 450° F.-The memory function is a useful feature as it remembers the last temperature setting I used.-The 360° swivel cord prevents tangling and makes it easy to maneuver the tool.- Automatic safety shut off feature, which provides peace of mind in case I forget to turn it off.The straightener and curler heat up quickly, saving me time during my hair styling routine.- Comes in a beautiful box, which adds a touch of elegance.I have naturally straight hair, and this is the first time I've attempted to curl it. It did take me a while to figure out how to use the curling function properly, but with practice, I'm confident I'll improve. The photo I attached was taken one day after curling my hair at a temperature of 356°F, and the curls looked really nice.One thing to note is that you need to be careful with your fingers when closing the plates. I had a couple of close calls where I almost got my fingers caught between the plates.The price of $99 might be a bit higher compared to similar products on the market, but considering its good quality and performance, I believe it's a worthwhile investment in the long run."

If you are challenged when it comes to curling with a flat iron like I am, this may be the tool for you! The twist really helps! I have never ever been able to achieve the pretty flat iron curls and waves that everyone else seems to have mastered right away. Even twisting it the way I think I should, it just never works out. This tool though, made me realize perhaps all I needed to do was keep turning even farther than I thought I needed to! I can do it y’all!!It’s really helpful to have it come already twisted , so when I clamp on and start twisting my wrist, it’s as if I’ve already done it a half rotation without doing any work!It’s really great!The only reason I took a star away is because the plates don’t seem to let your hair glide through as easily as I would like them too and sometimes snag a little bit. Other than that, this is the bomb-diggity!I would get this again!Also being able to adjust the temperature is so nice since my hair is stubborn and needs decently high heat to want to cooperate in any way. It heats up fast!The buttons need a firm press so there is no accidental bumping it up or down temps in the middle of the process!Worth it!

I am happy with how this straightener "tamed" my unruly bangs!😏 I had it on the lowest setting to avoid hair damage and it worked well. I'm not sure how practical it would be for curler styles but for my purposes, just fine.Good workmanship and materials throughout.Comes in an attractive box, perfect for gifting.I appreciated the option of multiple heat settings, some straighteners don't have this important feature.One star off as setting the temp. initially was a bit touchy. It kept scrolling through the temperatures before I got it set. 😕On the plus side, it does save the last heat setting and that I appreciated.😏Will update if any serious issues arise after extended use.
