It works
I have had these solar lights for a month now and they are still working as long as they have morning sunlight.I like this one because the lights and the solar charge are connected by a wire so let's say, you can put the light under a tree and the solar charge in another place.

Light goes all night
I set these on green for my garden at night. Bright enough to see to walk, but brings out the colors of the plants and looks atmospheric. I think the green also does not attract moths like a white light would.

I did not know there is a motion detection device on the lights
They look beautiful at night shining on the rose bush at the front of my house. They are well worth the price. Solar is a beautiful thing! Please create solar rope lighting!!!

Excellent Quality, Multiple Colors, Multiple Mounting Options and Awesome Solar Panels & Batteries!
I must admit to a love / hate relationship with solar landscape lighting. I can’t begin to explain the number of solar sets and individual lights I’ve put out that seem to work wonderfully for the first week only to watch them flicker out one after another as the weeks pass. I find that infuriating.I’ve had this multicolored solar light set installed within my landscape beds for five months and the lights are approximately as bright as when I first installed them. I will update my review if this should change. This is one of the few solar powered lights that actually produces enough luminosity to be of practical use. When on the high setting this fixture will provide ample light to see by (200 lumens each) and it can easily be mounted both at ground level or vertically on a wall. This fixture has impressed me in multiple facets. The colors are far richer and more vibrant than most other colored solar lights. The combination of the solar panel and battery pack works excellently. I’ve found this actually will last most of the night on low through the summer and around 5 hours in the winter (in Florida). With typical solar spot lights the solar panel is affixed to the light itself making positioning more difficult as the solar panels location is restricted to where the light is placed. Typically I like to hide my landscape lighting so doing this and having the solar panel absorb maximum sunlight can be a challenge - I love this design! The solar panel is completely separate from the light and only tethered via a 16 foot cable. This has allowed me to completely hide the panel where it receives 100% solar energy yet is unseen. When placing the solar panel it is critical that it be completely exposed to sunlight for the entire day. I have the solar panels mounted high where foliage will not block light and the solar panel will absorb the maximum amount of sunlight.I’ve learned a bit through my struggles with solar lighting over the years. Here are a couple of tips:* When placing each light make sure the panel is unobstructed from foliage, the roof or any other obstacles that would cause it to be shaded through large parts of the day - it must absorb as much energy from the daylight as possible.* In the best case scenario these type of solar panels will convert about 18% of the energy absorbed to useable power.* Every few months clean the solar panels with a moistened towel to remove any dirt or mildew - the panels tend to develop a film that diminishes their ability to absorb energy over time.* When installing tilt the panel at an angle so water will not pool on the surface but instead will drain away - this will help slow the build up of mildew.* Solar lights will not work as well through the winter months as they do during the summer. The hours of sunlight are both less and not as intense. Depending on your location this can be a large factor.* The rechargeable batteries that power these, and all solar landscape lights, can be replaced without replacing the entire light, the key is finding high quality solar lights that you like - by replacing the batteries I’ve found the lights can last many years.* When I first receive my lights I fully charge the batteries using my battery charger. This will allow them to begin with a full charge. Depending on the exact light you will require different types of battery chargers. Lithium Ion batteries common to solar lights include (10340, 10350, 10440, 10500, 12340, 12500, 12650, 13450, 13500, 13650, 14350, 14430,14500, 14650, 16500, 16650, 17350, 17500, 17650, 17670, 18350, 18490,18500,18650). That said No-MH AA are by far the most common. So far I have found this light outstanding over my several months of testing, it has withstood all weather conditions and continued to perform without issue. If performance changes I will update my review to reflect that. This is among the best sets of colored solar powered lights I have reviewed.
