So much fun.
It's pretty big. My first high end RC car, and it took a bit to learn to race it. In fact, I broke it the first day I acquired it, pushing its limits.I stuffed two 5000 LiPo batteries in it. And make no mistake, this thing is a Land Missile. I spend a bit of time sliding down the street upside down after gunning it too hard and flipping it over from the power. I may need to put a wheelie bar on it.An absolute joy to drive, couldn't wipe the smile off my face, even after I broke a steering knuckle and shock. 5 stars.

Ready to not Race
I just got the charger and battery, albeit quickly, that were not included with this (supposed) ready to race rig. Maybe it's on me for reading too much into the registered mark, but ordering something that literally has the ready to race phrase in the listing to receive it and have no way to run it for even a few days after arrival was disappointing. That being said, by the time the battery was charged (very quickly I just arrive home from work late in the evening) it was too dark to run for the first time outside. I did a few test drives in the house and it is clearly powerful. I have nothing to compare it to, so I can't corroborate the other reviews that say other vehicles are more powerful, but I'm really looking forward to ripping it up and down the road tomorrow. I will, hopefully, update this review to reflect my overall experience while still being tempered by the initial disappointment.

Not engineered for 6S power.
Ok if your going to just put around but if you actually drive it as it is marketed you will be upgrading LOTS of parts. The stock spur gear and front and rear diff gears are junk pot metal. Had to spend $150 for all 3 hardend gears so it actually doesn't break. These should have came stock with the truck. I own the 6s Kraton exb and have had way less problems.

Insane speed and performance & TRAXXAS durability
Been in the R/C game for a long time & have nothing but good things to say about Traxxas vehicles & Traxxas customer service/support.When the SLEDGE was released I snapped it up immediately. I have the X-Maxx, but wanted something with a similar footprint that was more agile and not as top heavy. Donāt get me wrong, I love the X-Maxx & will ALWAYS have one in my R/C collection. The Sledge is fast and fun on 4S, but with 6S it is crazy fast!! This thing really rips, 50+ out of the box is no problem whatsoever. Make sure the kids, pets & grandma are at a safe distance when you clamp the throttle on this beast. I love doing speed runs on pavement, but bashing or racing in the dirt on 4S power is so much fun that I loose track of time. In a racing situation on track, it handles really nice after some little tweaks to get it dialed in for your driving style & track conditions, even with the stock tires it handles well on packed dirt. Jumps are a thing of beauty and landings are super smooth with its super plush suspension. The Sledge enters and exits turns really like a winner. I was surprised to see how at home it is on a track. NOW..if you donāt care about any of that and just want a kick azz basher that can take a serious beating and come back for more, look no further. Iām not going to recommend that you launch it 2O, 30 feet in the air off ramps at your local skate park or back yard, but I have done all that & IF I land on all fours it ALMOST always drives away with no damage. 90% of all my driving with the Sledge is in the dirt and on short grass, lots of jumps and bashing, just having a great time rippin it up with friends. Thatās what itās all about for me. Traxxas has excellent customer service & parts are easy to find and not expensive.I have loved the Sledge from the very first run & can easily recommend it.For those of you that are looking at similar from Arrma, the Keaton is another good Truggy that I can recommend, however, parts are a little more expensive. Choose your poison & let er rip! šāš¼

Powerful but kind of fragile...
First run, on flat surface in my garden was impressive! A lot of torque but on second battery, noticed a strange sound coming from back wheel. Saw an axle going out so initially thought I lost a nut, but in fact, after removing the wheel, saw that axle was broke!Ordered a couple and after a week waiting, put it back on and ready for 3rd battery run: great for 5 minutes than, car only going reverse!!!Called my local Traxxas dealer who said ESC is dead cost is about 220 euros!!! Not covered by warantee since Sledge was bought in Germany... now with a dead car after only few minutes using it... not a great experience with Traxxas!
