This connector is super easy to use, just plug in and play as advertised. The extra lighting cable comes in handy on charging the device. The picture quality is super clear on the TV, almost as same as looking on your Ipad, but in a way bigger screen.Finally, my hands can free from the Ipad and enjoy my favorite shows from the Ipad on TV.

This device is great in that it allows both VGA and HDMI. However I just used it for a 4 hour presentation and it got incredibly hot. Also the response time of my screen decreased. I would write a value for my participants and there would be a 20 or 30 sec delay. By unplugging it each break I could cool it down and get responsiveness for about the first 20 minutes. Since I do presentations regularly I’m going to have to try the Apple adapter to see if the same thing happens. Otherwyeady to use. The lightning cord it comes with is to power the device so don’t forget that!

I really wanted this to work. It did a few times in testing, but has some trouble that I thought was just the lightning power cable. This company promptly replaced that cable. I specifically purchased this for a training classroom, where I needed to project video from an ipad app onto the projector screen. When it came time to hook up for the class, it just didn't work.It was quite an embarrassment as I tap danced around our "technical difficulties". Who isn't sick of hearing that excuse?The device startup screen came up on the projector, but when plugged into the ipad, there was nothing.I have purchased another adapter that should arrive today.

I bought this to attach my iPad to a TV at our church for presentations. It worked fine the first couple of times I used it, then suddenly stopped. Of course, by that time the return period had passed. Not a good purchase at all. I got another one from the manufacturer of my iPad that works perfectly every time

Not like other VGA adapters that is simple to plug in and use, this one needs to be plugged to a charger in order to work. And it didn't work with my iPad in presentation mode, meaning the iPad would show the notes and the projector would show just the slides.

Waste of money. Works only occasionally. Heats up to an alarming degree in only a few minutes. The single most disappointing product I have ever purchased on Amazon. This experience has prompted my pledge to buy only books and movies from Amazon and ignore technology unless I am able to verify the product functions as advertised. Color me STUNG!

I tried using this for my iPad as a connector to an Infocus machine. I thought it was going to work great but it started getting hot and then the response time between the iPad and Infocus came to an almost complete stop. I also paid extra for overnight delivery and it didn't arrive overnight although they kept my money for overnight delivery. I returned the product.

This product works very well with my Apple phone, I just didn’t look at the instructions and see that it needed to be charged first. My other connector that I use for my my 30 pin iPad didn’t need to be charged. So my advice is that somewhere on the package it should have in bold letters charge before using. The company was very helpful to me when I contacted them.
