Beautiful cups. Great price.
These are lovely. Very solid. Wonderful for my oolong tea. Found them at a great price also.

Nice and small
I enjoy the smaller size. It is perfect to get a small portion so my drink is hot until I get to the bottom of the tea pot. The sides do get hot, but that should be expected.

Solid Tea Cups - Larger than some others I have
I have purchased similar-styled tea cups in the past that were smaller in size than I expected. I ended up using them for Sake more than tea. These are much more reasonable sizes for tea in my opinion. The cups are heavy, well-made, glazed beautifully, and easy to hold. They do get hot like any earthenware teacup depending on the heat of the tea. This is something I don't love about this style of the cup in general; however, I suppose if the cup is too hot to touch, then the tea might be too hot to drink... I do like hot drinks though.

Absolutely gorgeous!
This is a beautiful set of 4 Chinese tea cups. They come packaged quite well so no need to worry about them breaking. They looked very pretty in the pictures, but when you finally get to see them in person, you really see just how absolutely gorgeous they are!! Seriously, this is probably the most beautiful set of cups I have ever seen before!! Now obviously they are not meant to hold a lot, and I thought it would be a bit odd feeling at first since they don't have a handle. But really they are quite comfortable to hold and with the ridges on the outside of them, they don't feel like they could slip out of your hand at any moment.Whoever is responsible for the painting of these is really talented and the colors are very vibrant and beautiful. They are almost too pretty to use!! They remind me of the kind of stuff you see stored in glass curio cabinets to be seen but not used.I honestly can't recommend them enough!! Because for the excellent craftsmanship of these, you would end up paying an arm and a leg if you were to get them elsewhere. They are especially perfect for gift ideas for a wedding or the holidays. I can easily see these being something that could be handed down through generations too. I absolutely love these and everyone who has been by my house and has seen them immediately comments on how pretty and unique they are. If I could get them in different colors, I would be buying them all!!!

Nice shape, meh colors
I am a self admitted tea and mug snob, so I'm pretty choosy when it comes to the cups I drink out of. These tea cups are fairly small, and the color is far more brown than purple. The pictures pick up more of the purple tones, but in real life they're not super impressive colorwise unfortunately. I'm not a fan of brown colored dishes, and wish the beautiful colors on the inside of the tea cup made it onto the outside more.

very pretty, blue fluted tea cups
I love the deep blue glaze that drips down in different shades of blue and the interior of the cup, where it forms a "starburst" at the bottom where the different glazes meet. The fluted design makes the cups easy to grip and hold on to, and because these are not insulated, wait a bit after pouring hot liquid in the cup. The cup itself will be too hot to handle, but after a few minutes, it will be fine to pick up.Again, the blue is stunning and the glaze work is just beautiful
