This product beats many of the more expensive items from Sephora that cost 400% more than this affordable, quality purchase by L’Oréal! I’m 55 now, and my skin is getting duller each year, but when I discovered this, it made all the difference. It stays on all day and boosts my self-esteem when I see the glow it provides, like baby smooth skin. It works especially well on top of the cheekbone to make it pop brighter, then I put darker contour under the cheekbone to contrast. It is a game changer, that’s for sure. You can add smaller amounts for work, or an additional layer for night life. I also put it on my décolletage area and forehead to brighten them a bit, too. If you are on the fence, give it a try. I promise you will not regret purchasing this product. I replaced my $50 Too Faced highlighter with this and like it much better.

I was so happy to see the new additions to Loreals highlighter line. I love the bright highlighters and especially love lavender /blue shades, they look very nice in my fair skin. I'm glad Loreal finally got in on the trend. This highlighter is just WOW. Just as good as high end ones and even better than some. You need to apply this with a smaller highlight brush and A VERY light hand, because even a small amount can be overwhelming. Working with it for a while, I've learned how to control the pigmentation from subtle and office appropriate to All Eyes On Me loud. For the price, the is a very generous amount. It may look small but I guarantee it lasts at least the year.. Sometimes the powder will look like it's just sitting on top of the skin, I just must it with my Cover FX Illuminating setting spray than part lightly with beauty blender and it looks okay if my skin and the glow is even more beautiful. For anyone who is into the Strobing trend or likes eye catching highlighter... I highly recommend you try this

I bought this thinking I could use it all over my face similar to the lumi face lotion. But it’s way too red for my tone. I’m fair skinned. Not super fair but light with red undertones. I can’t use it all over, it looks way too red. But I can use it as a blush and a eyeshadow! So no loss. The shimmer is beautiful. I love it as a blush it makes me feel luminous!

I’ve been using this for 8-10 years…I LOVE this STUFF…it’s my magic fairy dust!! The very first time I wore this, my son & I went to a Sonic drive-in for drinks & the girl who brought our drinks out, looked at me as she handed the drinks in, hesitated & said “can i ask you a question?” I said sure. She said “are you wearing highlighter? I LOVE it-that looks so good!” She asked for the name/brand & wrote it down. This kind of highlighting “dust” was just starting to be a thing at the time. From there, we went to a grocery store-I got the same compliments! This was my maiden highlighter voyage! My son was incredulous! I’m visually impaired, so he is my chauffeur[-he takes me everywhere—-after hearing those kind of comments all the time, he’s gotten used to them. I’m certainly no raving beauty by any means, but I try to do my best w/ what G0d has given me. I get comments on my makeup all the time & it’s because of THIS PRODUCT. I had a lady walk 3 rows over in a grocery store parking lot one day, having seen me inside the store, to comment on my makeup & ask what I used-she said it gave me such a “natural radiance”. To be fair, I also use L’Oreal primer & tru match foundation (other brands of eye shadow, mascara & lippie), so naturally I tried the L’Oreal Shimmerista when I decided to try a highlighter. And, I KNOW this sounds crazy, but I do get comments/questions ALL THE TIME on my makeup. My husband didn’t believe me, even w/ my son confirming it, until he witnessed it firsthand-now he, too, is used to it. When I say I’m visually impaired, I’m not BLIND, I just can only see certain things-or pieces of things—so using a magnifying mirror, I can manage to get my makeup on ok, so I know how it looks. If I go a week w/o someone commenting/asking what I use, it’s unusual. If they ever discontinue this stuff, I don’t know what I’d do! We are in a nice size city-not huge, but big enough that I’m not just running into people I know, or the same people all the time. I’d be curious to know if others who use this product get comments/questions. I will say, that while this product is the icing on the proverbial cake, I’ve had comments about the match of my foundation to my skin tone before, many times. Even my hairdresser asked me about my foundation, years ago, because it was such a “true match” (unfortunately, it’s being discontinued, I believe-it’s VERY hard to find now). Anyway-try the magic fairy du t & see what happens. I think you’ll love it, if you like a little “radiance”.

This is a little too sparkly as an illuminator for me...on my skin it looks like actual sparkles... I loved the color so much...I tried adding it to my regular powder and still too sparkly. With my coloring things really show up. I am a makeup artist and esthetician...and I know many times things may look so sparkly on my skin tone but look fabulous on someone else...I like to try all price ranges of products.. on my face it was a bit much...but if I ever want a really super glam look I could definitely use this mixed with my translucent powder. I then put an eyeshadow primer on my lids and applied this powder and wow it was gorgeous...oddly it was the color i have been looking for forever and beautiful burnished rose gold...and it stayed on all night! If you are going to use this as a shadow definitely use a primer first... I still give this five stars because it is multifunctional and I like the color tone. It is beautiful I can see some of my ladies that love some sparkle on their bodies mixing a little in their body lotions to use it on tannned skin...and it will look great... For me it is definitely an eyeshadow color I love.

I love the color and highlight color, but notice that when I’m applying it, shimmering particles float in the air and I’m concerned about breathing them. Looking at product information, it seems to have tiny metal particles such as aluminum. Check it out. I won’t purchase this again because I am concerned about the air I breathe. I’ve tried applying it with a bit of lotion to moisten the loose powder so it doesn’t fill the air. Helps some. I only use it on special occasions. It looks lovely on the skin.

Have to apply with a light touch of your brush with this product because, wow, it does cover AND shine!

The product must come in its original box with proper lid and sealed packing. This Diwali it was disappointing with make up items

it's a lovely colour and work dually as a glowy blush, though if you've get less then a dark skin tone, use a light hand when applying it as it's super pigmented. trust me, a little goes along way. i've got a light-medium to medium skin tone and think it would look best on dark skin, btw (if you'd like a reference point).
