The case is lightweight and offers moderate protection (which is what I was seeking). But the ring and its attachment felt too lightweight. And, as I feared, the pin that holds the ring in place has started to creep out of place. (See photo.) Now, the ring is loose (i.e., won't work as a stand) and, of course, doesn't permit me to hold the phone by the ring (for fear that it will separate). I've tried to push it back in, but can't get it lined up to slide back. And wouldn't you know it? This happened one day after the return window closed.Update: I alerted ICONFLANG's customer service department about this (via the email address provided on an insert to the original package). Vatro (the seller, which I suspect is also the designer and manufacturer) responded promptly (next day) and offered a refund. But they also asked me to remove the review (because "we will update our product quality soon") in exchange for a free replacement.

First off let me say what great customer service!! I told the vendor what my issue was and within a few days I had another case. I told them that it wouldn't charge with my new wireless charger and within a few days they sent me out another one that would charge with my wireless charger free of charge. It was my fault that I didn't read the everything about this case. They do have another case that works perfectly with wireless charging. Now let's get to the quality of this case......it's really thin and protects your phone great. I like the little kickstand loop and it works great for the first couple weeks then it gets a little loose but still works good. I love the way the loop helps you hold your phone when you are on your phone. I've read some of the other reviews and don't think people are giving this case a fair review. For the money that you pay for this case you are getting a GREAT deal period!!!

I wanted to really like this case but there is a flaw that I can't accept.Pros:I love that the ring helps keep the phone secure in my hand. A lot harder to drop it.I love how thin the case is.I love how I can use it with my magnetic car mount.Now for the bad:The ring on the back has a pin that keeps it in place. Well, the pin keeps sliding out and the ring gets loose and flops back and forth. It's not solid. I keep having to bang the pin back in for fear that if it comes out too far it will cause the ring to fall off and possibly cause damage to my phone.The worst part was dealing with Vatro who ended up supplying it. They answered my request for help but never went any further. I emailed at least 5 times and never got any further responses. I had to reach out to Amazon to rectify my purchase issue and get a refund.

I've paid for every one - I've never done a return because Amazon doesn't allow returns after 30 days on this product. Every single time, the ring holder mechanism fails and becomes floppy. After a few weeks, it won't stay closed and flops open (see the video). I like the design and everything else, but this mechanism is absolutely terrible. After this one arrived on Sept 18th and broke on Nov 1st, I'm done. So done. Look at the other reviews, it isn't just me.

So I’m a couple weeks in and I REALLY love this case! The one “con” is that it’s just a thin piece of plastic so I’m not sure how well it’ll protect this $1,000 financial obligation, but the pros are pretty numerous. I’ve never had a ring on any of my phones before, but it’s great! I never feel like I’m gonna drop it and it helps me comfortably reach the whole screen. Also, when I’m laying in bed it won’t fall on my face and when I’m on my side it stands on its own while I read. I also have a magnetic phone holder in my car (if you don’t have one you’re not living life!) and it’s been a seamless integration from my previous set up. Oh, and it looks sharp too..!

1/18/18 update: their customer service team is pretty awesome, reached out asap and apologized and thanked for feedback to improve. They sent me a free replacement in what seemed like a day or two, pretty fast.Initial post:I was ready to give this case five stars from the first day; Minimalistic clear case, magnet on the back, and the ring everyone is going nuts about...It was great.I needed an inexpensive case until the permanent one arrives. I’ve noticed it was a bit loose today and was going to try to tighten the screw holding the ring until I noticed the other end of the pin was broken.It was just a matter of time before the other side would’ve gave way.I’ve use it moderately, propping it up or secure it in my hand as I used my phone on the go.Here’s the thing, I get it with regular usage it’ll wear and tear and the ring may loosen but break over in four days?Would you trust the safety of your iPhone X with this case even if it’s high rated or amazon editors choice, that was my hook line and sinker, don’t let it be yours.You get what you pay for, it’s a great inexpensive minimalistic case, if you want the O ring, I’d get it elsewhere or not at all.I still enjoy the case for its sleek design and magnificent magnet it has on the back that I use for magnet mounts in the car and office.Three stars for me realizing my iPhone X was flirting w death by potentially faceplanting the tile floor due to a broken pin after four days of ownership.

Nice case. I just received today and so far I like it. The edges have a low lip though. It is flushed to my tempered glass screen protector so if I drop the phone it’ll touch the screen protoector but otherwise it’s a nice case.Works well with my magnetic holder in my car which is one of the reasons I bought it.The ring holder is pretty solid, it does not flap around, you need to use a little force to move it around which is a good thing. I don’t know if this is only temporary but I will uodate if it get loose or falls off.For the price it’s a good product. The same one was selling at the mall for $29.99!
