The grips are a little hard to maneuver for older people who can’t see real well but they are precision made and very sharp. I wish I h had discovered them 10 years ago. As long as I can get someone else to help they are great

I admit to hesitating at the price but after trying several lower priced, so-called heavy duty nail cutters, and being unhappy, I spurged. I'm older and have enough trouble taking care of my nails that I wanted something nearly surgically sharp, and with a solid grip. The fact that this was designed to allow me to easily line up the edges with the cutting part was a bonus. My toenails are more than just a bt thick, They have defied all other attempts to cut them. Yes, I had to squeeze firmly but the cutter went through like butter. I'm, treating this like a project cutting back a small portion each day and so far, success.

this clipper does work well on “senior” nails. or any extra thick nails. I am very pleased with this. it really makes cutting my nails much easier. can’t use the regular type now
