Cats love it but it's very small
We have a brand new leather chair. The cats were wrecking it. We put this right next to the spot they were abusing most and now they leave the chair alone. They love both pieces of this scratcher, even the small one. They scratch both pieces and they love to lay on them. Even the little part.My only complaint is that the largest piece is still very small. Neither cat can stretch out his body to scratch. They huddle up kind of like they are sitting down to eat and scratch with their front paws. One is average sized at 10 pounds and the other is about 16 pounds. But even the smaller cat can't stretch out. They played with the toy a little bit inside the scratcher the first day it was here but quickly became bored with it. So we took the toy out and gave it to them. They like the little ball much better that way.But this solved the problem of them killing our new chair. They enjoy it and will sleep on it sometimes. They are sweet and affectionate; their attitudes tell us they appreciate the things we've given them to call their own. Making them happy is what matters most.

Meh
Small post is too small (my cats stand on it to scratch the cardboard but the unit is so small that their paws reach to the carpet, so thatโs what they scratch instead) and the larger one is not weighted enough to stay down on the ground. Despite that, my cats are slowly finding a way to tear both up. I plan to buy a different one once they are done with this item.

Cardboard not correct
Our cat is a scratcher, a major scratcher. We have ramp scratching pads throughout the house. The vendor we used no longer is available on Amazon so we tried this one. The problem is the cardboard was cut incorrectly so those tiny holes which is what the cat claws into were not on the ramp, the cardboard was cut on the side (?) so there is nothing to dig into, the image on website shows cardboard correctly. If you look at the bottom of the ramp in the picture this is what the ramp looks like. A total waste of money! Kitty does like the 'hidden' ball however what a major waste of money.

great for Cat litter containment
Use it for cat litter containment and it works great. good ventilation and cat willing to use it. Fits big cat litter and can clean it by reaching in from above, and then slide it back under table when done. Room for a small bathmat in front of cat litter so cat can wipe paws.

No instructions! Makes it more complicated than it should've been.
I opened the box, went through it all, and there were no instructions! So we put it together by looking at the photo. Which led to trial and error. Took over half hour to put it together with a lot of removing pieces when we got to another part. When it was all together it looks like the picture but does not stand straight. No matter how much I pushed in the sticks. I believe it would have taken about 10 min if there were instructions.

Versatile.. inexpensive and durable... My cat LOVES it.
My cat loves this! So do I !t's so versatile... like having 3 scratching posts in 1. You can use it the way shown... or flip it over and have a 1/2 curve and you can even separate it and have 2 separate angle posts. The ball in the slot can be removed or kept in the slot. What a great toy and at an awesome price.

Tears easily
Seems like a nice enough unit for travel but our little dog tore it up in two days we left her alone

Fun to watch the cat play with the scratch pads.
Took a while but now the cat spends time with the multi position cardboard scratch pads. He's a big cat and can almost sit on the large part when it is turned over, flat.. He shreds it. We expected small bits of cardboard to come off. Easy to clean up with a vacuum. A lot better than scratching on chairs.
