We are going away and our camper needed a new awning. We hired someone to replace, however the awning that was ordered was on back order. We needed an awning ASAP, this awning was able to arrive to me in time to be put on camper before vacay. 1 - we saved money purchasing this awning, it was half the price then others. 2 - it looks wonderful on the camper. No pin holes or pealing of the fabric. 3 - we paid someone to install it, he reported no issues with getting this awning on. 4 - we were advised to keep the awning out and let it stretch. Did so overnight. We are happy, have an awning for vacation, but love the way it looks and have no concerns. Again we saved money!!!

This awning appears comparable to my old Dometic Fabric that lasted about ten years before it delaminated. Black piping goes on the top which i missed in the instructions. It went on easier than I expected. Folding the Awning for shipping does cause some of the pattern to flake off, but its not noticeable, and after a year of wear and tear you won`t notice any flaking. Can`t attest to durability, but if it last another ten years I should be happy with the quality.

I ordered this next day as I had procrastinated too long. it came as ordered wrapped and with all the parts indicated. it's a mid weight, not too heavy duty, vinyl that survived being installed after watching one youtube video and calling a couple of friends who not only didn't watch the video they had never worked on an RV of any kind. it was pulled and tugged and yanked into place and didn't stretch or crack or tear. the size was accurate and appears to be well made. the valance is very small. almost not there. I didn't pay attention to the picture so that's on me, I didn't care if it had a scallop or not, but it looks so skimpy as to make it look like a second or miscut. when it's not. maybe I am unaware and awning colors are supposed to be muted and drab, no garish colors and I get that, but these colors are lacking over all vividness or depth, as if seen through a film or mist, this may be industry standard. I would recommend this product, it came on time and fit right and is well made

First time buying something on Amazon and getting something better than expected. It actually came with a bonus hanging S-Hook kit. Way better construction than the one that came with my RV. Super easy to install. The fabric was twice as thick as my original and sewn way better.

The awning material itself was in great shape. We didn't see any creases where the color had worn off like previous reviews mentioned. Installation did can be a bit tricky. The hardest portion was putting the cording into the slot of the metal awning to hold the valance portion in place. Once you put the material in, the hem of the fabric made the opening smaller and the plastic cording was to thick to slide it in easily. We had to taper the end of the cording to make it more like a pencil point, then it slid in much easier. We could then slide/push it through to the end. We haven't actually used the awning at this point but so far it's good. I would have no problem recommending this product, especially for the price. As for instructions, YouTube videos helped, but the awning wound in a different direction then the video noted. Also. the holes on the left side of our awning were not exactly as the video noted. We were able to figure it out on our own and finished it in less than a day.

The shipment showed up quicker than expected and the step by step instructions were easy to follow. However the slide pieces that hold the awning we so frail that they snapped coming out of the box. I was able make due with what I had but what got me was the two pin holes I noticed after the whole awning was put up and stretched. Where the creases are in the folds they do to ship it had created pin holes in the fabric. Not the biggest deal now but may become a problem in the future.

A few things you'll need to know if you are doing these on a grand design momentum toy hauler camper. first off the awnings have lights in the roller tubes. These do not come with the light power cables in them. you will need to make a small slit in them and fish this wire. I had to do this with 24 gauge speaker wire. it was the only wire I could find thin enough. On the momentum I had the Carefree of Colorado awnings. the splines that these come with are not fat enough so make sure before you throw your old awnings out to remove the splines and reuse them in these awnings. Also as much as they show these as a single person job an RV that size Its a 2 person minimum. These awnings do look a lot better than the ones that were on the camper. Also the awning at the end of the power cable for the led lights on the roll up bar, there is a plug that you need to cut off and reinstall on the end of the new 24 gauge power line to connect it up to the carefree LED lights in the tube. In this project I used 2 adjustable A frame ladders and I found that a can of the wd40 silicone spray with the red straw was very helpful to get the awnings to slide in and out of the track. I would also HIGHLY recommend stainless steel self tapping screws. The ones I took out of my awnings almost broke because they were rusted in.

It was well priced ,Replacement on a 15ft dometic sunchaser awning, the quality is ok but not as good a the old genuine dometic awning that was removed (10 years old) The flap at the end ISNT long enough needs another 50-80mm and edge stiched (the edge at the isnt stiched either) - details!. The splines arent stiched in *probaly expected for a mass produced generic awning . The splines provided felt on the cheap side quality, however they worked. Theres everything in the box needed. We ll see how the material and stitching goes over time . YOU get what you pay for, overall it fitted and works fine. It was a bit wider than the original . , 4300mm new vs 4230mm old . (apparently they shrink over years). its a B .

Exactly as described, right size. I won't be installing till next year, so not sure how easy it will be, however, I will come back to update on the installation next year. Vibrant color and seems to be good quality.

It's too big! After such careful consideration, triple checking the size, it's too big damn it. Ordered 13' fabric 12'2, we received a 13' fabric! Had to twist the fabric to make it fit. Looks terrible. Not happy and already threw box out so couldnt return. So what was 12ft 2in in the description??????????
