Flimsy but useable, and...
What bothered me the most besides these being rather unfinished at the coupling part where one piece fit into another, which was poorly machined on several.of the pieces and tore through the rubber gloves I was wearing, was that it was missing a whole set of the largest of the plastic cross braces, plus two pieces of the next size up, and also the 4 mini braces for the top of the second trellis. I was able to salvage build them with some quick plastic tape to get them to hold long enough to get it to stay upright to continue building it, but that's not the point is it? I paid for two full trellis and all the parts were not there. You must use the cross braces and you must tape them after you click attach them because they bend way too easily and fall off where you click them on the poles if you don't tape them. That said, the poles themselves come in 4 not 3 each sections as the instructions indicate, so it was harder to figure them out. I had a helper with this and both trellises took 1 3/4ths hours to make and that was with the ( not included) reinforcing tape we had to use at every joint. They, even built, are very flimsy, I had bought these to stretch a fine cord netting between for my Sweet One Million midget tomatos vines to grow up ( and up and up, etc!) but i will likely have to build new trelises as these are not strong at all. I can't recommend them for all these reasons.

Good Product
My friend bought one last year and recommended it to me. Glad I bought one too. It's very easy to set up. It's light and strong enough to support my beautiful garden. satisfied and will buy more for my garden.

Does the job!
Brought these for tomato support. Overall they did the job and seems strong enough to support the weight. Will recommend them for anyone needs a plant support in the garden.

Completely satisfied
I am surprised by negative reviews of this product. I think those negative reviews might be due to buyer confusion about how these are supposed to work. They are not free-standing or self supporting. The instructions clearly state that the bottoms of the legs must be inserted at least 5 inches into soil. If you don’t do that, of course they’re going to tip over! What I liked about these trellises:The plastic is rigid and not at all flimsy or thin. The bottom poles connect to the top section by pushing the connectors located on the top of each bottom support leg into the receiving ends of the top section. It took me less than a minute to attach all four legs to the top section. You do have to push them firmly together. But I’m an old lady and it wasn’t difficult for me at all to push the pieces together firmly. I can’t imagine them spontaneously separating. The legs are adjustable for the diameter of the area in which you want to place the trellis. I’m using them in soil-filled grow bags on my deck. It was great that I could adjust the legs to fit inside the grow bag. And there was plenty of depth of soil to get them firmly seated. I do anticipate that as my beans grow and the top gets heavier, I might need to anchor the trellis with a piece of twine or rope to my deck railing to avoid the whole plant being tipped over by strong winds we sometimes experience in our location. If you are using them in a typical garden, you might need to push them further than 5 inches into the soil in order to prevent them from tipping over. Of course that also depends on how far apart you place the legs, with a wider base being more stable than a narrow base. But since these are so adjustable, that shouldn’t be an issue. They will be easy to pull up and store over winter. You could either pull apart the top and bottom pieces of the support legs or just pull them together (which means storing a taller length of trellis).I am totally impressed with this product and feel very comfortable recommending it.

Adjusts easily to a shorter obelisk…
I haven’t experienced the wind with these, so time will tell. The main thing is they are coated metal.I pushed the pieces together with a fair amount of pressure and a twist. They shove in a little further and are then sturdy.

I thought it’s made of metal, but it’s not.
I thought it’s made of metal, but it’s not. I prefer metal one which is more sturdy and durable!
