Plastic and very cheesy BUT the kids LOVE it lolIt has been a lot of fun for sure but it is definitely cheesy and will break with a little more use...Also! it takes a TON of batteries that I wasn't expecting (12 AA's) and because it is an "electric shock" game they run out fast!

My teenager loves this thing, takes it to every game night
Batteriesdon't last long, with regular use. Seems to shock more than one person at a time occasionally.Otherwise, a very fun game. We use it to determine who goes first in whatever board game we are about to play.

I bought this for my daughter birthday sleepover and it was so funny watching them all freak out. The zapping is very minor but the anticipation is what made it fun.

Inoperable out of the box
The batteries were fresh out of the box, the switch was on, the disappointment was huge when it didn't work. Returned.
