Fantastic entry to espresso grinder
I was looking for a grinder to partner with my new espresso machine and didn’t want to break the bank. After reading many positive reviews of the K2 I decided to order.I have been very impressed with this grinder. I’ve tried about 5 different types of freshly roasted beans and been able to dial in within 2-3 cups of each. I’m mainly using medium and dark roasts but I’ve also had one bag of lighter roast beans, none have been a challenge for the grinder. The adjustment from one click to the next on the dial gives plenty of scope to get dialled in.Build quality seems excellent too. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a very capable espresso grinder at a good price point.

A great versatile grinder
This is not my first manual grinder, I use an 1zpresso J-Max for my daily espresso. I ordered this Kingrinder K2 as a travel grinder for aeropress and moka pot brews. And it works perfectly, the grinder is high quality for the price, and the grinding experience is very good. It takes no time at all to grind enough for a 3 cup moka pot.I do use this for espresso on occasion to alternate between different beans and it does an excellent job. It is not as precise as my 1zpresso, but more than sufficient. Really you cannot go wrong for this price, even for espresso this is really impressive.

Great little grinder!
Small, accurate and very good quality alternative to a huge countertop machine, love it!

Cheaper than anywhere else
I have a K4 which I purchased from another site reseller and needed another more portable grinder for my travels to replace my Aergrind, the only reason being that I have been spoilt by the benefit of 48mm over 38mm burrs; I was slightly concerned when ordering this grinder as it is way cheaper than anywhere else here in the UK, so when I received it, I applied the Duck test:-It's packaged like a KINgrinder-It looks and feels like a KINgrinder (I've yet to try it..)So, it must be a KINgrinder!Seriously, this is the cheapest 48mmm burr hand grinder of note that I have seen anywhere in the UK, so a no-brainer for me: If you're budget does not stretch to a 1zpresso, KINGrinder offers amazing value if not quite the finish, I'm sure you won't be disapointed.

Good grinder makes the difference.
Just bought this grinder by my partner for my birthday, thankyou princess! And after 4 cups of coffee I've finally got my cheap lidl espresso machine dialled in!!! Its true what they say its all about the grind and good coffee of course! I've actually got crema and a lovely tasting espresso, highly recommend this grinder wish I'd bought it a year a go. :)

Fast grinder perfect for espresso
I used the hario skerton and timemore chestnut c2 before settling on this one. The grinder is surprisingly fast, sturdy. The handle is made of wood however and looked slightly discoloured/stained on one side which is a shame. A metal handle would have been more sleek and easier to hold and clean in my opinion.I initially went with the recommended settings in the manual and set it to 40 clicks however for my medium roast beans and my bambino plus this was WAY too fine for espresso and extremely difficult to extract anything at all. I adjusted to 50 clicks and managed to get some crema and make a tasty latte and nice looking latte art. Note when grinding at 40 clicks there is a lot of resistance and it is much harder to grind finer with this grinder than other brands I have used. For espresso between 50-60clicks however, there is some resistance however the grinder is much faster therefore at a coarser grind can take around a minute. At 40 clicks it took me 2-3minutes for 20g of beans

Worth the price!
I got this for my partner, biting my nails the whole time about spending $80 on a coffee grinder, but it was so worth it! Not only is my partner like a little kid in the kitchen perfecting his coffee, but the coffee he makes is noticeably better. The grinder is durable, portable, & easy to clean. This thing could probably be run over by a truck & keep working, which is perfect for my rough and tumble boys to take on their adventures. This thing is going to last forever. He loves it! And I love that he loves it. Money well spent.

A mighty little grinder that gives you a lot for your money
I had been postponing buying a hand grinder for a while and I am not disappointed now I have done it. This thing is really well done : sturdy, well finished and well designed. I especially like the design of the shaft, even though I doubt I will never use a power tool to grind coffee. I don't know what it is, it just makes sense. Moreover it gives you a lot of settings and is suitable for espresso. I could compare with a Porlex tall a friend had lent to me and as much as I am sorry for them because I would have wanted to prefer a grinder made in Kagoshima - a city very close to my heart - the Kingrinder K2 outperformed it by far, especially thanks to its 48 mm burrs and its 18 µm adjustment per click.

Primeras Impresiones:

I love this grinder!
The glass bottom fell off my other grinder, so I decided to try this because of the Metal bottom. This feels like a quality grinder, and the rubber grip around it really is a help and something I didn’t know I wanted until I used it. Almost effortless to grind too, 70 turns when it is completely filled gives me a very fine grind for my AeroPress. The cleaning brush is kind of flimsy, but it is basically a makeup brush. It does a great job cleaning the ground coffee off the bottom, so no worries. I haven’t taken it apart to clean, it seems a bit daunting, so putting that off for now.

All you’ll ever need!
Will it grind fine enough for espresso? Oh yeah. And finer than that! Coffee tastes SOOOO much better out of this than an electric grinder.Notes for use; one full rotation of the dial on the bottom is 40 clicks. It’s easier to know this than having to count each click to get to the desired grind. Espresso is between 40-60 clicks. I find 40 clicks is actually too fine and hard for my machine to push through. AIM for 50-60 clicks for a nice creama. You’d have to spend at least $300 on an electric grinder to get the same fineness of grind. Just buy it.
