KMC E11 Silver 11-Speed for E-Bikes, Mountain Bike/Road/Gravel Compatible with All Major Brands Missing Link Included

Have a full suspension mountain bike with BBSHD on 90v. Been running Sram chains for 2 years and decided to try this one during a derailleur upgrade. Literally cannot believe how quiet and smooth this chain is in comparison to what I'm used to... And the Sram chain was also very quiet. Kmc appears to be heavier duty and works flawlessly with Sram Gx eagle derailleur which has cogs that feature large and small teeth. Absolutely recommended.

I purchased this E-Bike specific chain hoping it might make a difference in longevity and strength. The original chain was a KMC standard 11 speed chain. I had no problems using the standard chain which costs about half of what this E-Bike chain costs, but it did wear out (checked using chain checker Park tool), in about 1700 miles. Normal push bikes with normal weight (160lb) riders, chains tend to last around 3000 miles with proper care. Me, I weigh 220 and the bike weighs 43 lbs putting out max 500 watts. Getting faster wear is just part of the deal with a mid drive E-bikes, especially climbing 5% grades in the big chain ring (50T). I only have 700 miles on this new E-Bike chain, so I'll report back with total miles when it wears out. So far so good.The installation went like any other standard chain using a master link, pretty easy. It does help a lot to have one of those chain breaker tools (sort of looks like pliers) to get the old chain off. To seat the new chain, just get the master link positioned properly and then hold the rear wheel still while you apply pressure with the pedals. This will pull on the chain and seat the master link easy. Wipe off the extra sticky shipping grease and you're good to go. I'm hoping the extra cost of this chain will be worth it in giving me longer wear.UPDATE: 2100 miles later still running good, not stretched yet using Park Tool chain checker. Lasts longer than the standard chain.UPDATE: 2500 miles chain is due for replacement .05 stretch on the Park chain checker. I'm replacing with standard KMC 11 speed chain as this e-bike chain lasted 2500 miles and the standard chain lasts 1700 miles, but the cost of the KMC e-bike chain is almost $60 and the standard chain can be had for $31, it's more cost effective to go with the standard chain. I noticed no difference in the performance between the two. Changing chains is easy with the master link.

Worked great for a custom ebike install. I wanted quality. I am using a lot of torque on an ebike. I highly recommend this chain.

I used two of these chain and they yielded a very poor durability. First one worked for 2000km and second one held for 1100km. I used to lube for every 200km.

I LOVE KMC chains. Easy install, great longevity.
