Motorcycle Fans. This is the Secret Sauce from old School bikers.,
If you have a Motorcycle with chrome or anything with chrome, this will REMOVE surface rust and small pits in the finish WITHOUT scratching. It is Magic. All I can say is, try it, you won't believe how great it works. It will restore that pitted chrome and save you bit bucks replating or replacing parts. I use Flitz metal polish with it.

Good product
Does the job. Bronze is soft so threads break off of the pads. To be expected

Just what I needed.
I can't say enough about this product. Upon a recommendation a few years ago I ordered a box of these, when they were cheaper, to clean up my Deco and Mid Century tubular chrome pieces I've collected overthe years. Most had been stored in a shipping container for 20 years and had those annoying little pits on them.Trying crumpled aluminum foil didn't work. The Bronze wool works wonders. A lot of elbow grease but no scratches. Some of the Chrome was in bad shape but look great now. The pin hole pits are still there butan occasional cleaning has kept all the pieces great. I've gifted many of the pads to friends to try.

Safe polishing bronze wool for a variety of surfaces - does not rust!
I use this bronze wool to clean metal surfaces like tub, sink and shower faucets/fixtures. Sometimes I'll use it with CLR liquid to remove scale and lime. It also works well on dirty glass. The bronze is soft and forgiving unlike steel wool that can scratch delicate surfaces. My 2 "cons" are that this product is pricey and the pads are thin. But if you want a safe version of 00000 steel wool for delicate surfaces, this product will work well. Hope that helps!PS - Amazon wanted me to rate the "warmth" of this bronze wool. If I ever use it for insulation, I'll give you an update. (I'm kidding - it's a goofy feature for Amazon to ask to rate!)

Will not leave pieces on your work. I use this to remove "Road Oil on windscreen (Glass only).
Lasts until you lose it or lend it. This is a "detailer's" item that many do not know about. Hard to find unless you live near Cape Cod as it is used for cleaning Marine Chrome. If your windscreen is streaking your windshield wipers then you need to first wash with auto soap your windshield to remove dirt. Then spray some water and more soap on the windscreen (england) , windshield (US). This will remove road oil from all the cars and trucks that have deposited oil on your wind (barrier). Its a little pricey so use only one piece and keep in a ziplock bag to keep it clean. Store the rest as this is Hard to Find. Since it is bronze it is softer than STEEL wool which will scratch Glass. Bronze wool will not rust or break apart like steel wool. Probably good for chrome as well as on MC parts that may have deposits on them. I do not use even 0000 steel wool on Bike Chrome as it scratches. Bronze wool will not.

Good pads
Seems like good brass pads but a bit pricey for the size/quantiy.

No rust.
Used this on my windshield of my 2006 Lexus LS 430. Commentator on a detailing site said use Brass rather than Steel wool. The small Steel fibers get caught in the trim pieces, ultimately rust, not so good. Brass??? No rust, no harm. Brilliant idea. Works well...
