The brand was previously unknown but similar products from recognised alternatives did not always work-out well; one rusted and another fell apart. This from LiveFresh, is better-made than either and may utilise a double mesh arrangement - one layer overlaid on another but slightly offset.The mesh appears to be more than fine enough to trap the bagged teas that use powder rather than the larger chopped leaves used by the better and more expensive brands. It looks as if it should last for many years and is reasonably well-priced.

Nice fine mesh which catches all but the really tiny tea leaves.The sieve is a good size especially when used with larger leaves, as there is plenty of room to catch the leaves without it clogging up.The handle is a good length and seems securely fixed to the sieve, so I'm not concerned with it breaking off any time soon!Easy to clean, not sure if it would survive a dishwasher but simple enough to wash up by hand.

The description title says "mini" but this isn't what I would call mini - you'd find it would fully fill a standard teacup. Having said that, it is good for my requirements - larger cups and mugs. It has a long handle and double mesh to strain most of the finer tea leaves. It would be even better if the depth of the actual bowl of the strainer were a little more shallow as it does dip into the tea somewhat when the mug is filled.

This strainer is sturdy and well made. It has a fine netting ensuring you don't end up with little bits of tea leaves in your beverage. The plastic bit on the handle is great, a good grip, and doesn't heat up. It's easy to clean using a kitchen brush or sponge. And it'll go in the dishwasher. I think it will last! Would buy again.

Exactly as pictured; looks sturdy and durable, easy to hold, wash, etc. The size is as stated. I use it for making alcohol extracts - they need to be strained after few weeks, and a fine mesh strainer is exactly suitable for that.Update: The mesh is still going strong after months of use, and I've recently been using it for loose-leaf tea as well, which is works brilliantly for.

Really enjoying using it. Nice depth avoids the spillages that you get from the flat strainers. It's not too big and fits my narrow mug well. Has a sturdy mesh. Can't comment on durability as had it for only 3 weeks, but use it daily

I use this for my coffee... using an espresso blend i brew in the cup. Then use the strainer to take out the grounds. It is truly excellent... leaves me a beautiful smooth cup of coffee. Has vastly improved my quality of life!!

I liked the design of it and easy to use feature. However it did not last longer as i was hoping for and the handle was broken from the strainer side.

Leider, denn ich habe mir meinen Tee immer damit aufgesetzt. Und mit einem Schaum von der Suppe entfernt.Dieser war in der letzten Rabattaktion und erweckte guten Eindruck. Er hat sich nach dem Auspacken auch bestätigt.Somit kann ich wieder meinen Tee damit aufsetzen sowie bei Bedarf etwas Mehl in Sossen und Eintöpfe durchsieben.
