Overall, this is a really solid camera with a lot to offer for the price. You get a 4K main stream alongside a Full HD tracking stream, which is a great combination. Despite having dual lenses and multiple streams, it still only takes up a single channel on an NVR, which is a big plus. The tracking works well, but it’s not continuous. Instead of constantly following the subject, the camera re-centres them and then waits until they move far enough off-centre before adjusting again. It works fine in practice, but it’s something to be aware of. A minor personal gripe: I would prefer if the tracking stream used the fixed zoomed lens at all times. That way, you could potentially capture more detail, even if the camera decides that level of zoom is too tight for the subject. The camera supports preset points (including saved zoom levels), which is useful, although it doesn’t have a built-in patrol mode. That said, this can be worked around using platforms like Home Assistant. Integration with Home Assistant is excellent - you get access to all four streams (main and tracking in full resolution, plus sub-streams), which gives a lot of flexibility. Audio quality is surprisingly good. The built-in mic and speaker are clear and loud. For the best results, if possible in your setup, use the PC app with a headset or separate microphone. Image quality is great during the day and good at night. Night performance only really drops off at longer distances, where you may notice some ghosting near the edge of the IR range. The white light and IR illumination are both decent. Other positives: Very quiet PT motors Solid metal and plastic construction Fast mobile notifications (in my case via an NVR) One final tip: this camera is frequently on sale, so it’s worth waiting for a deal. Overall: A feature-rich, reliable PT (Hybrid) Z camera with excellent smart features and strong homeassistant integration - highly recommended.

Wow, what a camera! I run these Poe as I didn’t want to worry about a battery powered option as you’d struggle with battery life with a camera as capable as this! It’s made the home so much more secure and as well as being a visual deterrent it’s one hell of a camera. It’s quick to respond to commands with little to no lag, I can track objects , patrol, have set points and do different things depending on what it tracks. The black and white night vision is excellent, but if you use the built in light you get colour vision in the dark! There’s so many variables to adjust to get the camera performing how you like! The zooms amazing, the dual camera is mind blowing how that works! I can literally pan amd track but still keep the original focus point in site ! It’s very clever and excellent quality and I’ve bought 2 and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more

Easy to install and set up. Great picture quality. The dual cameras are great for getting up-close detail without sacrificing the total field of view of the camera. The tracking works really well and you can set the sensitivity to your preference. unfortunately manual use of the ptz function is a bit clunky as it can only be used with on screen buttons and there is no compatibility with cctv joystick type controller's or keyboard directional buttons. Night vision is good and clear but cameras are used in conjunction with static cameras so the ir coverage may not be as good if its the only camera installed. I expect it to be a great deterrent to unwanted visitors as the camera will light up and visibly follow anybody it picks up. It would be nice if the cameras could be configured in a mesh and be able to pre-emptively move to follow subjects detected on another camera rather than waiting till the subject moves into each individual cameras field of view. I'm sure this could be achieved with firmware update or a future NVR upgrade. This camera is excellent and only marked as 4 stars instead of 5 as it could be amazing but most people will have no need for manual control and the deterrent of a cameras that visibly tracks potential intruders can not be understated.

Brilliant and secure pan tilt camera. We got this to add some security to our back garden and so we could keep a close eye on our Goldie puppy when she goes out there in the dark. It has been absolutely brilliant as a dog cam, the spotlight is much brighter than expected and provides clear colour images day or night. As a home automation fan, I can't not love the effort Reolink put in to integrating their cameras with Home assistant and with NAS solutions, letting me safely and securely monitor the house without a cloud account

Great camera, the image quality in daytime is very good and the motion tracking works well. I keep the 2nd lens for close ups when motion is detected and this works well too. In my particular case with the camera in the home position it does mean that the 2nd lens is basically looking at nothing very much until movement is detected on the main camera then it centres on it and tracks movement well. The lights for the full colour night vision are pretty bright and make quite an effective outside light, mine is overlooking our yard and at night time the lights come on when driving up and track us to the door. I did have a problem with the camera not tilting properly but Reolink's support was very good at sorting it for me under warranty.

A** Product, easy to fit, 256GB SD card is great, 7 days recorded then overwrites. Good quality, Good Picture even from your phone & records in 4k. PTZ is great if you need coverage around a certain area. Maybe they should make them in Black too? Think they would look better

Super caméra. Déjà toute la caméra est en métal ce qui procure une sensation de solidité meilleure que celles en plastique. Le POE fonctionne bien est voilà enfin une caméra qui permet d’être associé à d’autre logiciels (Synology surveillance par exemple). L’image est de très bonne qualité. La détection de chien, voiture et humain sont au top. On peut jouer sur la sensibilité de chaque catégorie indépendamment des autres.

L’installation est simple avec le poe, un seul câble suffit. Le suivi de personnes fonctionne bien, la camera zoom et suis la personne détectée. J’ai dû ajuster la sensibilité en tatonant un peu. J'utilise la camera avec Surveillance Station sur un NAS Synology et l'enregistrement fonctionne bien. Les alertes sont gérées par la caméra. Le souci est qu'il y a deux flux vidéo et donc pour Surveillance Station il y a deux caméras différentes. Avec 2 enregistrements différents et deux licences de caméra utilisées... Même si la caméra à deux objectifs, ils sont indissociables puisqu'ils ne peuvent pas bouger indépendamment. Seule une des deux camera est en 4k (celle qui zoom) l'autre est de qualité inférieure. EDIT : Celà fait quelques mois qu'elle fonctionne parfaitement par tout les temps. Les images sont nettes, on peut facilement reconnaître un visage ou une plaque d'immatriculation la nuit, même par temps pluvieux et sombre. Lorsqu'il pleut ou qu'il neige, ça génère beaucoup de fausses détections de personne ou véhicule. Globalement je ne regrette pas mon achat, j'utilise l'enregistrement en continu sur le Nas, pour les personnes qui utilisent le cloud les alertes pourraient être trop nombreuses et utiliser beaucoup d'espace.

I own a Reolink 823-A, and outdoor E1 (and also 7 Google Nest cameras, 5 Arlo's and 4 Xiaomi's). This nice camera has good zoom capabilities and excellent video quality. The app is very nice, but I miss geofencing!! There's a big difference though comparing with the RLC 823-A, the floodlight and night vision isn't as good as it's big brother; about 400 lumens versus over 900 lumens.
