Power lead far too short
The pump itself is great, it's such a shame that the power lead is far too short otherwise I would have rated this product five stars.

So good bought another one!
I have a 36" tropical tank with an undergravel filter. Used to power it with air pumps/line/air stones in the air lift tubes. Got fed up with A) the noise of the pumps and they got less powerful very quickly. I dont have the money to buy an expensive air pump in the hope it would be better. So searched for alternative. Came across this and ordered one about 2 years ago to replace one air pump. Hardly any noise at all when it is situated on top of the air lift, the circulation rate is brilliant. Now the other air pump is giving up the ghost so have just bought another. Would highly recommend if using as a power head on top of an airlift, cannot comment on running attached to the side or through a filter but given its as cheap as chips I am very impressed. Not a days problem with it

Powerful and good value
Intended purpose. Just works.

Fine for me
Fairly compact and powerful enough. I use it as a little wavemaker on my 170 litre oscar aquarium. I've had it for months and it does the job just fine, although I wouldn't want to use it in anything bigger. Can't say I've noticed any noise it makes over the filter and air pump running. I think it's been great value for money for less than a tenner so I can happily recommend it.
