Outstanding Keyboard!
I'd began to try mechanical keyboards several years ago (believing at the time that they could be superior in comfort and overall experience); however, it wasn't until recently - when I had to buy a traditional membrane keyboard out of necessity - that it was made clear to me that I was quite wrong [from my POV I mean, as this is entirely subjective...]. I couldn't quite believe how pleasant and non-fatiguing it was to type on a membrane keyboard again. So much so that I'm now selling my mechanicals and will be sticking to these ones from now on (I've bought two of these KC 1000's, one white and one black - for the two computers I own). So, to get back to this keyboard - not only was I pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it looks (a very pleasant innoffensive off/warm-white colour) but the quality is also there, with keys requiring just the right amount of pressure to engage; not too much and not too litte. It's for this reason that I find it to be a very comfortable (and non-fatiguing) typing experience. Low noise too, keys being very quiet and with no discernable creaking or rattling of the keyboard chassis. As you can tell, I really am smitten. I've bought Cherry brand keyboard in the past (mech. only) and this met the equivelant quality as far as I'm concerned. In all honesty I can't really find fault with it as yet, nothing jumps out at you as being badly designed or crappy - it's just a good, honest keyboard and for the money it's a real steal. Prior to this I'd bought a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse set and the keyboard on that rattled around pretty badly and really let it down. Now looking to sell it! A brilliant product and very glad I took the gamble on buying the KC 1000, great value as well.

Highly recommend
Great budget keyboard. Smooth writing, nice and quiet, genuinely a pleasure to work on . I have owned many expensive gaming keyboards that have felt a lot cheaper and have been annoying to use.

Bargain, quiet wired keyboard
Somehow I managed to get this for ยฃ11, and I'd say it's probably the nicest keyboard I've had! I was using a cheap Logitech MK295 wireless keyboard, which is quieter and feels nice to use but the stupid thing was constantly dropping connection, or going through batteries quite quickly. So I decided to go back to a wired keyboard as I need it all day for work, this Cherry one is very nice to use, I like the keys and the sound is absolutely fine. I'd describe it as quiet, definitely not silent. It's worth going to their website to download the software that allows you to change the default keys in the top right, you can set them to whatever you want (very useful!). If I fancy an upgrade to this one, I'd definitely stick with Cherry and perhaps go for the Stream model, although I'm not entirely sure what would make that one worth 3x the price but it's still affordable and a very good brand in my opinion.

Very quiet and soft.
Of course, you can tell by the price, this keyboard is cheap, but you'll certainly know it when you take it out of the box. It is so very light and insubstantial that It screams CHEAP. That said, I give it four stars because, cheap or not, the typing on this is beautiful. Of the many keyboards I've had over the decades, this is one of the best purely and solely because of the very soft and so very quiet typing! I found the keys to be solid, resolute in the pressing and just lovely to type on. Despite the cheapness, if this keyboard were illuminated (which it is not) I would give it five stars ... keep it, and buy another one - and I never thought I'd say that about any cheap keyboard.

Love this keyboard
I used one of these at a desk in work and fell in love with it. So much so that I tracked it down online and bought one for my study to replace my 'softkey' Dell. This is truly soft. It's wonderful to use and quiet. Typing is a dream.

Excellent keyboard
Brilliant keyboard, my last KC1000 lasted about 15 years or more, and very happy to see this available in QWERTY! This updated design has a nicer soft touch finish, and a softer but still very precise and low effort keystroke. I also have the KC2000 (Scrabble tile) and both are excellent keyboards.

Great budget keyboard :) annoying "bonus" keys :(
This was a replacement for a Logitech K120 and, in general I am very pleased with it. Types well and feels good. However, I dislike the annoying 4 buttons where the indicators lights usually are. I had to download extra cherry keys software just to disable three of them but you cannot disable the sleep button, that had to be disabled in windows settings. If you like those extra buttons then great, but not for me...

Fantastic! Pictures attached.
So far it's great - Make way for an in-depth review! It does have some of the foreign keys as shown on the picture, overall not an eyesore in my opinion, however the main (larger) keys are in the UK format. Layout-wise: 'F' keys are separated, it has a full-size number pad, and it has four bound keys - calculator, email, home, and sleep mode - and all of which work (calculator button opens the calculator, email opens the Mail app, home opens my browser, and the sleep button puts my computer in sleep mode.) The keys themselves have a tactile feel, I'd say, and while I haven't tried them for gaming just yet I would say they would be just fine. Side note: Whenever I press the Caps Lock, Number Lock, or Scroll Lock they all light up respectively on the middle light (as does the Caps Lock on my laptop as well while I'm doing it.) Personally I don't think it feels that cheap but of course it depends on what brand/type of keyboard you're used to, though I would place it somewhere inbetween higher-quality and lower-quality. Also, the letters themselves do not look fuzzy, blurry, or generally of anything low-quality and closely resemlbe the smoothness of Windows text I would say. I bought this keyboard for ease of access while using my laptop and when needing a larger workspace and can see myself using it further in the future. I hope this review has been helpful.

Teclado de batalla con la calidad de Cherry
Teclado expandido con 4 teclas multimedia, que hacen un total de 109 teclas Algo austero, pero con buen grip

angenehm leise, flache Tastatur
Zu Beginn war ich sehr angetan. Allerdings wurden bereits nach 6 Monaten die aufgedruckten Buchstaben auf den Tasten immer weniger sichtbar.
