Homienly10 inch Wheat Straw Dinner Plates Set of 8 - Alternative to Plastic, Microwave & Dishwasher Safe, Unbreakable Kids Plates with 4 Colors (Classic Bright)

I bought these Homienly Deep Dinner Plates Set of 8 Alternative for Plastic Plates (in Black/Grey, 8 inch) about 3 months ago because I've been sometimes dropping and breaking my plates. I'm honestly so happy I got these for use around the house. I microwave stuff. I stick them in the dishwasher. We like the "lip" so if something is a little liquidy, it is less likely to drip off than other plates. I've dropped occasionally and still haven't chipped. And yes, they will scratch if a knife is used. I'm just happier with them than I expected because I was watching my other plates dwindle from dropping.

There’s several things that I like about these dishes. First the curved lip makes it easy to have spaghetti or something else that may be a little juicy so it doesn’t spill off your plate. I bought these for my RV and as you can probably imagine you’re not always sitting at a table so it would be easy for the juices to slide off and make a mess. I haven’t even put them in the RV yet and we’ve use them several times at the house. They go through the dishwasher just fine. I was concerned that they might stain from spaghetti sauce, but that doesn’t seem to have happened yet. I bought the 9 inch plates which I really like. A lot of plates only come in the larger sizes and that helps you to eat more than maybe you should (or maybe just me) lol. Very lightweight. Great buy. Cute colors too.

Who knew how great these would be? Got them for a large outdoor family event and wanted something better and more eco friendly than disposable plates. These are nice colors, highly durable, and lightweight. Nine times out of 10 our kids reach for these plates over the standard dinner plates now. They hold up under repeated dishwashing as well.

These plates are deep, so it’s great if you want to contain food/gravy/syrup etc on your plate! They are very sturdy too—not hard but thick enough that they are pretty robust. They tend to get water spots in the dishwasher but I don’t care what they look like—they’re functional which is what I care about. The colors are muted, but pleasing.

My 88 year old mom eats meals with us. She is unsteady with her hands and these plates are the perfect replacement for heavy dinnerware. The lip around the edge of the plate catches a lot of potential spills since we like to sit on the sofa and watch game shows during our dinner time meals. Great for the entire family.

These plates were a pleasant surprise. Like others, we love the colors, the texture, and oddly, and others have noted, the sound of the plates - or rather the difference in sound from conventional plates. They are actually calming to use. They are also great for kids, campers, etc. The only complaint we have so far is that, also as others have noted, you can't cut on them. My husband lightly used a butter knife to cut something on his plate and it resulted in scratches. One other thing, I wish they made smaller bowls that we could use for things like salsa and dips.

Love these plates! I’ve had for several months with lots of wear and tear and they still look great! Wash up east in the dishwasher and don’t get hot in microwave. Recommend!

No issues so far. Love that they’re microwave and dishwasher save. Also, no staining from spaghetti sauce as I’ve had with other yucky plastics. Very happy so far!
