I got these to start experimenting with watercolour and they work amazingly. The shape of the brushes is perfect for all sorts of strokes (thin and thick). I've used them for about 2months now, almost daily, and they still work great. There are way more sizes than you actually need since each brush can be used to make thin and thick lines, I mostly only use one!The brush I used for mixing my colours lost its tip a little, but it works great for thicker lines and has lasted a long time considering how much I've used it.

I've just started getting into watercolour painting, and this brush set has been really great. A really nice variety of sizes, and I've already got a few favourites. The tips are lovely and soft once you give them an initial wash, and they've held their shape well. I also haven't had any problems with fibres coming loose, which was a problem I had with a brush set I got from elsewhere, which cost more than this and only for 3 brushes! So I'm really happy. Definitely a good buy for someone who's just starting to dabble and wants something affordable to start off with.

The #2 and #1 brush do not come to a point, but are flat so not very useful. The 3 and up brushes though are great.

These brushes are really good quality.I’ve used them a number of times and washed them every time I use them (obviously) and they haven’t shed when I’ve used them or washed them.They have also mainly kept their shape.The tips aren’t as pointy as they were to begin with but they’re still pointy enough and I’m able to get a fine enough line with them.

I bought these brushes to begin painting with watercolour before I knew what I needed. Once I started I did in fact buy the recommended brushes. However in my humble opinion these brushes perform much better. They just seem to stand up better, there is no fraying, they are easier to control. I love them

For someone who is not a painter, these paintbrushes appear very professional. They are soft and work well with watercolours. I'm very pleased with the quality for the price.
