This is a marvellous book which tells you how much work really goes on in the background of the airport which in some cases we don't see and never knew how it works. Great stuff.

Brilliant book. Having been through Terminal 5 and flown to JFK and back for the first time, this book helped me understand everything that goes on behind the scenes. I could replay it in my own mind and found it completely absorbing.

I chose this book to be my husband's main Christmas present, as he is a big fan of aviation, and Heathrow is his favourite airport. He has loved it. It is updated since the rebuilding work has been going on, so it is quite up-to-date.

Very complete, with history, operational procedures, and light statistical figures. Having non technical readers as targets, has nonetheless good value for the curious as a concise history and operations manual. Could'n recommend more.....
