This is a great set of scales! The markings are easy to read (in Grams, Ounces, Liters, or Fluid Ounces). The lip is handy for pouring out the ingredients without making a mess, and I love the way the scales fit upside down into the bowl for easy storage.

I bought these scales to replace my existing ones, which were over 40 years old - still working but very heavy, with lb and kg weights. These are very light and so easy to use and, when finished, the tray can be reversed to cover the mechanism. I found the measurements simple to set up and, overall, I'm thrilled with them. Well worth the money.

As I would expect from a well known brand. Sturdy and well made. I would of liked the bowl to of been bigger to weigh out 3kg of flour is the only downside.

Old fashioned scales. The bowl holds a good amount. It's easy to wash and the bowl fits over the body of the scales so it's very compact. I had a set of these scales for many years (15) until the bowl cracked, so I wanted to replace it. Delighted they still make them. Best scales I've ever had (and I'm a keen baker so use them regularly), and a good price too! Put the bowl on the scales, set the base to zero and add ingredients, very accurate obviously as they're traditional scales.

I like the large weighing bowl on these scales. The measurements are easy to read and I like the use of being able to weigh liquid items and dry items. If you want to store the scales away you can invert the bowl and store everything together easily, but mine are used frequently so are on the worktop all the time . Overall very pleased with this purchase .

Excellent Salter scales, my old Salter scales which I had 40 years ago have worked themselves to death, they still work only the plastic bowl has split and liquids leak, I shall miss them but know I have the new.

Mixing bowl is quite small, really only suitable for measuring out ingredients.

This is a good looking machine, rather bulky to store though. Large weighing cup, simple to use once you have figured it out!! Being 90 years old I am not smart and it took me a while to .work it out!!! Suit your self.!
