Not your father’s fish sauce
Korean fish sauce is definitely more pungent than the Thai fish sauce, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, it definitely was exactly what my kimchi needed. That signature flavor just isn’t possible with the other stuff.

I haven’t tried this yet but wanted to include a photo of the English language nutrition label that was added. 20g is about one tablespoon. (The label includes a P65 warning.)
