Fully articulated Ken doll complete with sturdy functional wheelchair at a very good price
Handsome Hispanic-looking Ken doll arrived today. This is wheelchair Ken. He has brown wavy moulded hair, green-grey eyes and a marvellous tan He is fully articulate, neck, chest, down to his ankles, so he first thing to do was to liberate him from that chair (which is beautifully made and fully operational and will suit any injured dolls as the need arises). Our new Ken will make a nice new addition to all our female Barbies and Disney princesses. And he was priced competitively too!

Fully ball-jointed body!
I used to have Beckie in her wheelchair and Paralympic chair too - it was very pricey because sold out and rare by the time I got it, but I really wanted it. It's nice to have the wheelchairs back, they make great scenes in dioramas, add interest. In this case, the main interest for me is the fully ball-jointed body of this guy: it's amazing. I've bought him several times just to be able to re-body my best Kens. But why or why the plastic hair? Is it really so much cheaper to produce moulded hair than rooted hair? All Barbies have rooted hair, why not the guys? His face is really nice though. I think I will shave off some of the hair moulding and stick on his head some real doll hair instead.

Daughter loves it!
My daughter has gone a bit doctors and nurses crazy so this was a nice addition to her collection. Everything is nice and sturdy and shouldn't break easily. She liked that the Barbies joints and easily movable which is much better than a standard Barbie.

Great diversity
I got this for my daughter she is 5 and loves barbie. The doll is good quality, very good detail and made well, the wheelchair is plastic, very durable, turns and moves as you would expect. I got this for my daughter for educational purposes to show everyone is different not everyone is the same. It prompted her to ask questions and we actually had quite a good chat about different disabilities, races and such things. I think it is great for teaching children that sort of thing. It is full of bright colours and I love how barbie now have adapted to things like this. There is no discrimination at all. Really good quality, makes for lots of fun for my daughter well done barbie for introducing this to young children on a educational level.
