I've used one of these for years. This one was for my new MacBook Air. The viewing angle is slim, providing maximum privacy. A few considerations: You'll possibly need to up your screen brightness in some cases. Probably not a huge concern, but if battery life is an issue, just be aware. The top is magnetic, the bottom has some sticky stuff that holds it in place. I tend to leave mine on all of the time, so it's a non-issue for me, but others may want it off to better experience the crispness of the display. The protector does dull the display, no real way around it. It's very usable still, but if I need to do detailed photoshop work, I take it off. Overall, I love this, the magnetic top makes it a breeze to keep on and take off. It's durable, too. Mine sits in by bag if and when I remove it.

I am so very pleased with this product. I have an iPad Air 4, and read constantly on it. The mate texture really gets rid of glare. The texture works well with the pencil, though I am not an artist. It feels remarkably like paper when using it. I find it very easy to use, though the initial application is typically tricky. That isn’t really a surprise, putting a huge sticker on a screen is hard, but no more so than any other screen protector. The final result though, is wonderful. I am not capable of not dropping things, and this product has completely protected my beloved iPad. The price is great, and it has been 8 months, and no problem. I strongly, cheerfully, recommend this product.

WARNING: CRACKED SCREEN. The privacy screen works great but I highly recommend not applying the camera shield. It sticks out so that when you close your laptop, it pushes on the screen and my screen cracked from the inside. I had to replace my laptop screen which cost me over $300! Use the privacy screen, just use a tape or post it note to cover your camera instead.

I’ve never used a privacy screen before but I was going on a work trip and felt it would be worth getting a privacy screen for working in public places. It arrived in perfect condition. I love that it’s magnetic on the top and it fits perfectly. It’s more thick than I thought but in a good way. It feels quite durable. It came with some things to stick it onto the screen as well as some cloths and a folder for traveling. I plan to only use it as a privacy screen so I don’t think I’ll actually stick it onto my computer as a long term screen protector but I feel it would be just fine for that! It dims the screen slightly but that’s kind of the point since it needs to hide the screen past a certain angle. It’s easy to wipe down with a dry cloth to get dust off. It looks nice on the computer since you can’t really tell anything is there. It feels durable and I’m confident it’ll last a long time. I’ve been using the plastic folder/sleeve to bring it with me. I just put it in the laptop slot of my backpack right behind the laptop itself. I did close it with the screen protector on just to see the gap other reviewers have mentioned. I think it’s so thin, it couldn’t be any thinner without sacrificing quality so the tiny gap didn’t bother me, however, since I didn’t use the adhesive, I needed to make sure the bottom part of the privacy screen (closer to the keyboard) didn’t fan out and get bent or stuck. But again, I plan to just use this by itself so I just end up taking the privacy screen off and putting it in the folder when I’m done using my MacBook. I’ve attached photos from the side angles and a video which shows the side views, then vertical (looking down towards the keyboard) and then right in front of the screen. You’ll see that there isn’t any privacy from a vertical point of view but the sides look completely dark! I would recommend this! Pros: Durable, high quality for the price Comes with adhesive, cloths, and a folder Fits like a glove against the MacBook Pro 14” M2 Pro (A2779) Cons: I wish it could protect vertically and from a distance. The privacy only works on the sides. It’d be great to have something that can also protect from someone behind or above you. Please give this a try— you’ll likely find that it suits your needs as long as you’re aware of all the features!

It's fine but not worth the price. It gives mild privacy, you can still see the screen if your brightness is medium-full brightness so it doesn't do what it advertises. It also gives the screen more of a glare than without it, and it gets fingerprints on it so easily. It definitely does not make it more matte. I'll likely be returning it. I think if it was cheaper then it would be fine enough to keep for every now and then, but it's too pricey given that my Macbook also can't close all the way when it's on. It's good to have if your Mac is too vivid to look at for hours because it will dim it and block more blue light, and it's easily removable if you don't use the tape. That being said, if you don't use the tape and want to use it often, such as watching shows in bed or playing games, the screen will hang right off and you have to hold it down manually. It makes no sense why they didn't make the full frame of the screen magnetic to prevent this issue.

It works for privacy well but it doesn’t fully stock to the screen making the contents blurry

I installed this on my screen quite a while ago it’s still going strong. I haven’t noticed any scratches or chips. I bought them to help me feel like I was reading from a book for my online schoolwork. It helped with that slightly. It did make it easier to ready and study outside if I chose to. Fit my screen perfectly and I only had a couple bubbles on installation, but most of them smoothed out. Any remaining absolutely don’t notice.

Embora as instruções sejam muito mal escritas, num inglês questionável, com calma dá pra entender o processo e não tem erro: aplicação ficou perfeita. Película funcionou muito bem no iPad Air 2024 com Apple Pencil Pro.

Very effective for its purpose and looks and fits well on my mac.

Recently got a new iPad and I was researching good paper-like screen protectors could use, I’ve heard many matte screen protectors tend to disorientate the screen and are too grainy. I needed one that wouldn’t take away from the original bright screen of the iPad and still would feel like paper. Originally I was going to purchase the Bersem paper-like protector but then this brand caught my eye and looked promising. I am so glad I went with this decision this is genuinely the protector I was looking for. Feels EXACTLY like paper, and it’s not too harsh on the pencil nib and doesn’t feel like straight-up sandpaper. For $8.99, this delivers excellent quality and fulfills its promises. Installation was a little tricky but definitely not hard if you’ve installed screen protectors before, it comes with all the stickers and things you need so nothing is required for set-up. The bubbles were so easy to get rid of and the screen went on smoothly, the screen is still bright and once you begin writing on it, you’ll never want to stop! Definitely go for this one, I’m glad I stumbled upon this brand, I saved so much money and am very satisfied with my purchase!
