Even as adults when we used to read it to our kids, we found it full of humour yet passed life's lessons in a gentle, sweet way. Now that our little girl is 5, she enjoys reading by herself. And of course, lo-oves Kipper :-)

Purchased as a new baby gift for a friend, she is creating a library of all her friends and families favorite books for her new baby.

Easy to read for young children and the stories are great fun. Would recommend.

My daughter is 2 and she loves this book. There is a choice of four stories. Only problem is as there are 4 stories there is an expectation that they will all be read one after the other. So single books do have the edge if you just want to read one. But as she gets a little older she is starting to choose which story she wants to hear first.

Such lovely little stories of Kipper the lovable puppy. Beautiful pictures. I have old books that belong to my son. He's 34 now! I used the books when I was Play Leader at a Playgroup many moons ago. The children loved the stories. I bought this book for my two and half year old grandson.

Such a sweet and cosy stories. I like the classic children’s books a lot, they use to be more original than new books that reuse the classic’s plot lines.

My LO watches Kipper and loves the show so we decided to get the book. LO immediately recognized the characters and has been quite pleased with it. The artwork is really pleasing and I appreciate that there are multiple stories included. I also like the writing style; the storylines are fairly simple but there are some great descriptions, giving the opportunity for LO to extend vocabulary.The first one we received was fairly bent and scuffed, which we know can happen with a paperback, but as usual, Amazon made it easy to exchange!

If you know Kipper and his friends, you are going to love this book. If you do not know Kipper, he is an incredibly imaginative, caring, adventurous little dog who has great little friends and truly finds a way into your heart. My kids LOVE these stories. We watch the show on dvd so they were familiar with the characters already and now love turning the pages to see the very sweet illustrations.

Enjoyable stories which I will feel comfortable reading to young friends. I bought the book because my own puppy’s name is Kipper and I think the book will help some young friends relate to him.

Ces quatre histoires sont bien sympathiques, Kipper le chien est tour à tour naïf ou rusé, enfantin ou sage, mais toujours amical et sympathique. Ses histoires sont pleine de charme et touchent à la fois les grands et les petits. Je suis devenu aussi fan des dessins animés de Kipper que ma fille de 4 ans, ce qui nous a amené à ces livre, qui prolongent ce charme. L'Anglais de ce livre est d'un niveau un peu élevé pour l'âge visé: beaucoup de vocabulaire et quelques tournures pas évidentes pour un débutant de 3-4 ans. C'est fait pour des enfants dont c'est la langue maternelle. Je regrette donc qu'il n'y ait pas de bonne traduction française disponible de Kipper, ni des livres ni des dessins animés. Du coup, je lis ce livre là tour à tour en Anglais ou en Français à ma fille, en faisant de la "traduction simultanée" quand elle me le demande...
