I bought skates for my 6yo and 7yo to learn to skate and purchased these protectors. They definitely helped prevent harm from several falls.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased for a nine year old girl who is falling in love with skating. I am not a super overprotective mother and believe that kid-hood scar are necessary for the creation of high performing adults. My daughter's current dreams are to become a model and an actress so I feel compelled to protect her from scars that might get her rejected for any future roles, hahaha. These were even cuter in person while being very sturdy. She had a few falls; one was kind of hard so I feel they have been well tested so far. She says they are light (lightweight) and work good. She also said that they makes her feel more comfortable learning to skate and asked if they make one for butts! I feel that these run a little small. On a smaller sized 9-year-old the medium sized set was almost too small. I definitely will have to buy a new set to replace them when she grows out of them, which will be soon so only 4 stars. It is still a great Amazon find but just size up especially if your child is average or above average in size.

Our daughter was gifted roller skates for her birthday. She was not gifted any knee or elbow pads.Her skates are awesome and she survived day one with only a helmet and no pads - and without incident!Day two, the pads arrived before she even woke up. When she woke she wasted no time donning her new pads and skates and took to the driveway and sidewalk.Our girl was just barely able to fit these, as she is growing. In about four weeks I am guessing they will officially be too small. But that is okay, as they fit exactly how I needed them to when we needed! My girl loves skating and feels safer with these pads on.Overall, I would recommend these pads to anyone - not only for your safety - but because it is a good product, manufactured well, and can definitely help prevent or minimize certain injuries. We rate these pads five stars!

My 4 year old son is doing more outdoor activities like riding his bike, scooter, and ice skating. These were nice addition to help protect him when he falls. The seemed like a good price and worth the shot.The package came with a nice little net bag that all the pads were in. The elbow pads and knee pads are labeled which make it very easy to know which are which. I also like that the straps can be taken out of the loops which makes it much easier to put them on over pants or long sleeve shirts. He loves using them which is also a huge plus.The only downside, which I did not take off any stars, is I wish the pads were just slightly bigger. the straps are a good length and he has plenty of room. I would say they are great for 3-4 year olds but I think he will outgrow them quickly.

I am 5’6” and weigh 113, and my teenage granddaughter is my size, right now. These are size medium, and they fit me, so I know they’ll fit her. She’s a skater, and I’m not. Skates scare me because I’ve fallen too much with them. Just not athletic, in that way. So I run instead. :) These hard plastic pads are a nice bright color, and when strapped into place, they stay put. The Velcro is strong, as is the elastic. I recommend these for anyone who needs protection from possible falls. I could have used these when I tripped on sidewalk cracks, when I was training. That’s why I like the road better. :) Anyway, these would be a very practical Christmas gift for runners, cyclists, and skaters, I think. 👍

I got the Medium of these for my 6 year old, and they're too big, I should have gotten small. The legs can be adjusted to work well enough, but the elbows are much too big even at the tightest. For my older daughter they work fine, but they're not very comfortable. The elastic seems like it might not continue to stick securely forever, but for now it's a good set of gear that's easy to put on and take off.

These fit my tall 9-year old perfectly. She loves the colour (they match her rollerblades) and she feels so much safer especially with the knee pads.

Nice for the price

My daughter longboards and is very clumsy. This set is superb value for money, she is 14 and they fit great she says they are very comfortable and protect her well. She says now when she falls she's not scared and it doesn't hurt. She's happy with the performance. A must for longboarding, skateboarding and other outdoor activities

Ok product, quality as expected for the price.Elastic is not strong enough to provide firm fit around my kids' limbs, even with the velcro attached at the tightest position. So I wouldn't trust these items for activities that risk the pads slipping/ rotating around their joints. Ok for low-speed falls/ knocks, but no good for high-speed/ sliding falls. Also feels like cheap elastic that will soon be sagging.To get them fitted, the velcro pad ends need posting through a plastic loop/ eyelet (If you don't want to take the kids' shoes off & slide them up their legs). The velcro pad is a tight squeeze through the plastic loop, meaning the kids struggled to fit them themselves, meaning extra jobs for daddy.
