I used these on my Bissell vacuum. They helped with the dog smell and dust. They fit great.

The filters work yay!!

There is not a deep enough depression for the gray foam filter to fit inside, so it let lots of dust & dirt to pass thru. It could have damaged the motor if I hadn't noticed right away. I tried taping the edges, but it didn't work. I should have returned them but didn't try them soon enough. This will NOT fit Bissell's Hard Floor Expert bagless canister vacuum 1161. Order from Bissell instead!

These filters are well made and are very similar to the OEM ones, but they're too thick for my vacuum (Bissel Hard Floor Expert Deluxe). They force the foam pad into the removable cyclonic plastic piece, which isn't that big of an issue. The real killer is that they don't allow for proper airflow, so you lose suction on your vacuum.

I’ll just go back to purchasing my replacement filters from Bissell. The ones in grey casing are the correct fit for square foam insert. Amazon used to send the Grey ones which were exact to Bissell brand. Now Amazon ships filters of same shape - and they do fit, but are now in black casing which have the white filter piece glued (and barely glued) so high into the casing that there is no room for the black foam piece to fit into it as it should. You have to shove it into the canister after you sit it on top of the filter-quickly! or it doesn’t stay in place. And the black foam pieces they now send w/ these poorly made filters are also too big, so you must trim them by hand w/ scissors before you can attempt to force them to “sit” on top of what little space there is for it within the casing (atop the white barely glued in) filter. They also do not wash well for reuse. I’ll spend my money w/ Bissell.com on these going forward.

I ran into the same problem as other reviewers. The OEM version of this filter has a rubber gasket that's not present on these filters. This results in a SIGNIFICANT lack of suction rendering my vacuum cleaner next to useless.

This is replacement and is nice to have a new one that is fresh!

I purchased these for the bissell total floors vacuum and when the arrived they do not fit. I am returning these

These filters were not made deep enough (1 cm approx.) for the black foam pre-motor filter to fit in it as in the original Bissell filters. I will use the filters without the foam piece but it's not ideal.
