Very nice inexpensive strap
I've a few Levy's Leathers straps over the years and have alway been very happy with the thickness, look and function. I almost bought a cheap $12 strap I'm glad I came across this strap at only $20. I got a lot more quality and comfort for just a bit more cost.

Nice and wide with suede backing for bass guitars
Nice and wide and with a non-slip suede backing as I like... Thanks.

Awesome Strap
Nice wide strap, perfect for my neck heavy bass! Thin stiff leather that will break in, in no time and only get better.

Digs into my neck/shoulder area ... harder leather
This is a decent strap, but digs into my neck painfully. I would probably choose differently, to do it again. On the positive, it is very sturdy and well made for a simple strap.

New Favorite
Yes, it arrives rigid and stiff. Yes, you have to break it in for a couple hours. After that, it's been the most comfortable strap I've used. I can't see myself getting anything different. These distributed the weight very well and make my heaviest basses seem light on my shoulder. I have noticed it is not particularly long, the lowest position could be lower.

To short
I had to buy DiDarrio straps to cut up and make the tail piece long enough for my style. I like a long hung guitar and these as stock are not.

Quality leather = bit of a break-in period.
Takes a little bit to break-in but that's because it's quality leather. You don't want "butter soft" leather for a strap. It's also the kind of leather that will develop character over time.

So Comfortable
This is the most comfortable strap I have ever had/worn, 3 inches seems extreme, but skinny straps slip in-between your traps and delts and after 20 minutes it starts to be almost painful and then, it is painful. This strap basically displaces the weight of the instrument more evenly across your shoulder.
