Exceptional Life-Changing Guide for Everyone Looking to Improve their Personal/Business Life
What do you know about snipers? Probably not much. This book will open your eyes on the subject, but it's NOT about snipers. It's not about war, although it certainly brings it up a time or two. This book is exceptional because it's all about helping you use the latest research in improving your mind. Your brain controls every part of your body, it controls your vitals (when was the last time you checked on your breathing or heartbeat intentionally?), the mind does it all and most of it on auto-pilot. But there's so much more to it. Can you use your hand to change its direction, without using your brain? Of course not. But what you CAN change with your brain is your brain! Not a typo, we're all capable of many extraordinary traits. We're all born with practically none and have to learn how to do just about everything as we grow. Yet once we reach adulthood, we kind of stop the learning process and our mind development. But our minds are capable to be much more and the author uses snipers and their amazing skills of being able to achieve seemingly unachievable, under intensely stressful, complicated and dangerous situations and achieve their objective, perfectly, almost every time they try.David Amerland interviewed hundreds of snipers to find out how do ordinary people turn into the extraordinary and then he explains the science behind their remarkable achievements, in terms of self-control, ability to make quick decisions under extremely difficult conditions, eliminate fear. And then he explains how the very tactics the snipers use could be used in a business environment to help the readers use these proven and extremely useful techniques in their personal and business lives. This book has plenty of historical references and interesting stories (ie it's entertaining and certainly not boring like so many business books are). It also gives you the tools and explanations and guides you on how you too can use your mind, train it, to become just as fearless, be a true leader, make hard decisions with confidence and strength and succeed in your business, even if many others can't. That's the magic of this book and why it's a must-read for every business owner, every team leader and everyone who understands that they have the power to improve their mind and thus - improve their life! This book is the guide to get you where you're going!I was privileged to read this book before it officially came out for sale (today) and can't recommend this book highly enough. If you know you can do better, you want to do better in your life and/or your business - you can! with The Sniper Mind as your guide!

I wasn't ready for it to be over. I wanted more.
The first word that comes to mind after finishing this book? Wow. Just wow. Insightful, engaging, extremely well researched, and very well written. And now, for the meatier review. When I first stumbled across this book I was skeptical. While I saw that the author was well reviewed for other books, those books were about SEO and marketing, not the military, personal development, leadership, or any other topics running rampant through these chapters. But after having the book in my cart for weeks, going back and forth on whether to pull the trigger, I did, and I'm so glad I made that decision. The Sniper Mind is exactly that. It explores the mindset driving snipers in the military, and gives actionable insights into how to apply some of that thinking to the "real world" -- specifically, the business world. Each chapter stands alone as a concept, but they all work together to paint the picture of a successful sniper. The author has clearly invested a significant amount of time researching and developing this book. Numerous stories of snipers fill the pages, along with snippets from interviews. One of the most powerful quotes that grabbed me? An excerpt from a British sniper."...Why a sniper? Because we all want the same thing. All of us. We never say it. Not to anyone else. Not to even ourselves. But we want it. To be the best. The very best we can ever be."That quote and countless others led to burning through more then one highlighter, and contributed to many pages of notes, before reaching the final chapter. After finishing it I'm seriously contemplating reading it again. I wanted more.As an entrepreneur with very limited time, I looked forward to reading a little in this book each day. It changed my mindset for the day and provided perspective on the never-ending slew of challenges in my own world.I will say, this book isn't for everyone. It's not an "easy" read, it's not a "quick" read, but it is mind-shifting. If you're looking for a book with quick answers and shortcuts to make you feel better in tough times, this probably isn't it. But if you want a book that reminds you the only real "shortcut" to dealing with tough decisions is to toughen up, sharpen your focus, commit to the long game, and maintain the right mindset, and you want to genuinely work towards furthering that mindset, then this is 100% the book for you.At the time of writing this, I can count on both hands the number of books that have compelled me enough to leave a review. As an avid reader there have been many "good" books that should make the list, but few that move me far enough to share my experience with others. It is one thing for an author to write a successful book within their area of expertise -- that in itself is still an admirable feat -- but this book was clearly the author pushing themselves outside of what I assume would be their comfort zone, and nailing it.Get it. Read it. Highlight it. Live it. It will change the way you think.

How can a Sniper make you Better in Business?
In David's book he uses interviews with snipers as a way to creates a methodology so that business leaders can focus to make better decisions. If we think about it, snipers and the armed services have spent years training people to work in teams and for snipers to have a role within those teams. Snipers then, from a vantage point often look down on the field of play and then have to make, calculated decisions, quickley. How is it that business leaders can use this clear and focused thought as mayhem opens up below? That's how David taps into the Sniper mind.
