These are hanging from my trees outside for Christmas. They are really big and look spectacular!

For the price I’d say these are worth it, a good starter set.. or good if you have kids. They look very much like plastic which is the only downside. Other than that they’re nice, they come with elastic or you can use your own hooks. They are also a bit cloudy. Good size and lightweight.

You have to thread all these yourself! and it comes with this very thin clear rubbery thread to use and with my butter fingers I have only gotten 5 done in over a half hour!! I wish I could return them but I already had to cut thru the clear rubber "string" to get it loose from itself. It's going to take me 2 to 3 HOURS to get these all threaded. BAH! HUMBUG!!!

I have several hanging pendant lights with metal guards/cages protecting the lightbulbs. Instead of using the clear filament that came with this order, to attach the icicles to a tree, I used silver wire so I could hang the icicles around the rims of the cages…like a faux chandelier. When the light shines through them it’s very Christmassy. In my case I’m leaving them up all winter long.
