Underrated good value kit
Supposedly produced as an anniversary of Gundam celebration kit, the GN-000 0 Gundam (from the excellent anime Gundam 00), both serves to be a fun and engaging build. Its colours are bright and vibrant and the overall design is reminiscent of the classic Rx78-2 Gundam but fresh and new at the same time, making it one of my favorite all time suits both in the anime and in real life HG form. The build itself is relatively simple, consisting of a couple of fold out pages in the manual. The Suit once finished is quite small, which is perhaps one of its biggest weaknesses (it is dwarfed by taller Hg kits the Unicorn destroy mode), but there is lots of opportunities for detailing with a GM marker and the articulation is excellent. The pieces also rarely seem to drop of which is another good feature and probably good if your buying this for a younger gunpla enthuaist. The back comes with the option to have the GN drive ( a pointy engine from the anime) installed or a general gray backpack. I went for the latter because i felt the kit looked much better without the pointy shaped object poking out the back, but fans of the anime may go for this option.Like the Suit, the Accesories are also relatively simple. There is a Beam saber with two blades, a standard beam rifle and a nicely molded shield. Personally think the gun and shield look is going to be what most people go for because the beam saber is pretty standard.Overall it is a welldone kit that is good for beginners and i got mine from here for £8ish, which also makes it of resonable value. 9/10
