My dog (and kitten) love these toys; I wouldn't buy any other brand now and have some that are several years old. Only one has had a seam fail under vigorous shaking. The dog (a pointer) carries them around, plays with them, cuddles up with them. She isn't a destructive dog, in that she doesn't set out to pull them to bits, but has certainly destroyed multiple other soft toys through rough play. And now she often waves one of them in front of the kitten inviting play and the pair of them have tugs of war with the kitten wrapping his legs round the toy and holding on for all his worth as the dog attempts to pull the toy away or shake both together (which is getting increasingly difficult now it's a half-grown cat rather than a kitten).
