Planning on using this barrel for a vanity sink project. I am generally skeptical about ordering things online, Amazon included, but took the chance on this. I can state without hesitation that I am overjoyed with the results. The barrel is authentic, from Heaven Hill Distillery. I it is oh so imperfect that it is perfect in every way. Price was extremely fair considering that shipping this item eats a lot of the overall price. Arrived 2 days after ordering via Fedex, in perfect shape. I will be ordering from MWB again. You can trust you will get your monies worth and then some. My anxity of ordering online has been calmed and I can get on with the project at hand. The barrel we received was in great condition and made a fantastic addition to our pirate themed bar room. I could have power washed it to clean it up a bit but honestly it was perfect as it came for our purposes. I was slightly disappointed that the one we got did not say Willet distillery or any other markings to show what distillery it came from on it like was advertised in the picture but not a big deal. Ours just had some random numbers and letters written on the lid that got covered up by the slot machine anyway.

Completely exceeded my expectations, beautiful barrel, almost brand new with small amounts of whiskey stains but enough to authenticate, super heavy and great quality. My husband loved it! The smell is wonderful and not over powering for a Whiskey lover. Plan to purchase another. Shipping was costly, but arrived 4 days sooner than expected. Just thrilled with it.

I have no idea how our mail person got this on our porch by himself. It’s so big, heavy and beautiful. I bought mine to make a rain barrel. The conversion is going a little slower than expected simply because the wood is so thick. It’s a great product and if I ever have barrel needs I will plan on ordering from here again.

I ordered one of these barrels and had it shipped to my son in Texas as a house warming gift for him to use as a conversation piece. It was a surprise. I got a text from him asking "What the hell is this" with a picture of the ugliest barrel imaginable. These are DIY project barrels for sure. But before you order one make sure you know whomever you send it to needs to understand they'll probably be sanding and staining it to suit their tastes.. And his has a stamped top but its not as nice as what the pictures are shown. Would i purchase one of these again? Probably not and i'm a professional painter with the experience to make one of these beautiful. The barrel my son received is in really bad shape with chalk writing all over it and until stained can't be placed where he would have put it. I had requested a return but have since made up with my son by letting him know i had no idea it would come in looking like a trash can with a lid. He literally thought i was insulting him with the barrel.
