I really like the look of this knock box on my countertop. The wooden lid looks great, and it holds a lot of used pucks. The white does show the occasional coffee drips, but it cleans easily.

Pricey for what it is, and the plastic of the knock box itself is quite thin, but the bar itself is a nice rubber-coated metal, which makes your knocks feel solid and the puck comes out beautifully and intact. The wood lid matches very well with my portafilter handle, and the overall design is much more attractive and modern than most knock boxes. Even though I like the lid and how it keeps all of the pucks hidden, I wish you didn't have to manually remove and replace it. It also just sits on there vs. feeling like it's solidly attached, although the vents/gaps at the top and bottom are great for keeping the pucks from getting moldy.

I’ve had the knock box for a year and the rubber covering the bar that gets knocked every day is wearing off in key places, so I’m starting to hit metal with the portafilter. I’d have hoped this wouldn’t start happening after just a year. The other issue is the lid is difficult to position to stay on without falling off. Otherwise, it’s a nice looking knock box.

The bar on this knock box is metal covered in rubber. This rubber sheath deteriorated and started coming apart a little over a month after purchase. It is still usable but I am concerned that my portafilter is going to get damaged banging it on what is a bar metal rod. It is not a replaceable part. I would not buy this again!

Perfect addition to my coffee station. Perfect size. Great sleek design. I love that this one has a lid unlike so many others I saw. I too am glad I got it despite the 3 star reviews. The lid is a bit tricky at 1st, but you have to smarter than plastic and/or wood, after that it's easy. Yes it's small, but after a week you should be dumping it anyway. I don't know why anyone would want something like this without a lid.

I’m so happy I took the risk on this knock box, despite the 3 star average reviews. It’s honestly very well designed, AND I LOVE THAT IT’S SMALL (see how it compares to our old one)! Still trying to figure out just how many pucks it holds, we tend to empty it after 10 but I don’t mind that, thanks to my newly found counter space. The opening *seems* narrow, but fits the 58mm portafilters perfectly! The knock bar is quite think so the grounds actually *do* go right into the bucket, no mess. The knock bar is also very strong, it feels a lot more dense/heavy than our old Breville one.

I had my eye on this for a really long time as it is aesthetically pleasing for my counter. I was really drawn to the walnut lid only to discover when I purchased the item that it was plastic. Which is outrageous for the price. There are far higher quality lockboxes on the market for a fraction of the price. This item was returned immediately.

It supposed to be a very elegant knock box visually. However, like a lot of people said...the material is based on plastic, so it looks cheap even though the price is very dear compared to other knock boxes. I like the idea of the knock box with a lid though.

Paid a fortune, product received in bad condition! Price not justified!

This is just a basic knock box with the addition of a badly fitting, non-sealing lid that falls off easily. I certainly don’t feel that I got value for money.
