Fantastic creamy oil pastels at a really good price
It's the first time I've used oil pastels so I was a little worried in case they would be difficult to blend as they weren't at all expensive. I needn't have worried. I used them to add accents to die-cut cardboard and Flower Forming Foam before moulding the shapes into artificial flowers and they blended really well. I think they are excellent value for money.

Good buy
If you're passionate about pastels, it's definetely one to have - creamy, sof texture that blends beautifully and the price is a knockout. I gave it a 4 stars because I am not into pastels and certainly not into stick pastels, I only need it for a particular project.

Good buy
Good range of colours, blend well, reasonable price. Packaging was different to shown but prefer as more practical for storage.

Broken and shoddy
Great product but poorly packaged and delivered/transported so many arrived broken. Beware this seller. Buy from somewhere else!

You do get what you pay for, can be frustrating to use
Really not creamy enough. Very frustrating to use. I'd pay a bit more if you're new to oil pastels or you'll give up.Took me back to crayons as a kid. On textured paper doesn't cover well, smoother paper is better but doesn't blend brilliantly. Heavy layering works okay, though you do end up with small specks of the oil pastel spotting the paper, but when blending or layering colour it does tend to pull off.Okay for sgraffito (scratch art) as long as you don't use too many layers, and cheaply covering large areas.I'll stick to their pencils.UpdateOrdered some of the Pentel pastels suggested by another reviewer. They are a dream to work with by comparison. Much creamer and blend beautifully.Really surprised as Derwent have always been my go to.
